What's on your mind?

In my house right now, I have access to 47 different whiskies - this includes miniatures too, but that's still pretty impressive. I live in a library of malt, quite literally.

I pretty much cover every region of Scotland, from the Highlands, to the Lowlands, from Campletown, Islay and Speyside, and all of the tiny little surrounding islands like Arran and Jura.

I have a couple of Japanese and Tennessee whiskies, (and a Canadian one somewhere) too, but I'm not really including them in the 47.

So, yeah, I'm either a connoisseur or a raving alcoholic, I haven't decided yet...

Am jealous of you at the moment [emoji19]

Oh, sorry I mistook the cartoons as you being humorous when you said "he" I assumed you meant the car deserved a chance to race again. I didnt mean any offense.

Nah, this is one of my more serious cartoons. I find expressing myself in drawing to be rather therapeutic.

I'm going to see him tomorrow. My mind is racing about it but it's something I have to do.

EDIT: Another thing too, when I read your post, I didn't quite understood what you meant and assumed you had a similar history with your father. I responded, "Did your alcoholic father disown you too?" but later retracted my post as it could have been seen as offensive.

Now I see quite clearly what you meant. Don't worry, I was not offended at all, just misunderstood what you meant.

Nah, Im hard to offend. As to the question, my relationship to my family was far from pretty but it wasn't AS bad as that either.

Work is gonna be fun tomorrow, but I'm feeling okay. Unlike this morning, my symptoms are manageable now. In quite a pit of pain (body aches), but that's okay. I can deal with pain. hoping for more improvement after some good sleep (hoping to get good sleep. lol)

So, the decision is made. I notified one prospective employer that I would not be following through, and accepted the other offer. The fact that the recruiter was pushy and a little impatient made that a lot easier lol.

I decided to go with the job that's taking me in new directions rather than the one that's closer to my previous experience, in part because I need the team experience and I may actually have a decent shot at project management. This new year is actually looking like it could be exciting.

My mom insisted the other day my weigh in was not as accurate because it was the day after my weekly cheat day, she proposed middle of the week would give a better estimate.

Thank goodness she was right! Today I was 5 lbs down from Monday and 9 lbs down total. That feels a lot more indicative of the consistent effort I've been putting in. 30 lbs to go!!!
