The Muslims are the descendants of Abraham with Sarah's Egyptian Handmaid Hagar. After Ishmael was born then Sarah had a son. These are real people, this is also an allegory. This is one reason people get confused is because God is able to take real people and a real story about those people and turn this into an allegory that we can learn from.
