Oh come on friend, Ive heard many things from ya, what would you tell yourself, you have been thru many things, and others that read this can learn from it. I might not be living in 7 years, share your wisdom, tell us what you've learned, tell us what the younger you could do to change his life.I'll let you know SP in 7 yeas
This question is for those with a little age and experience in life, those people that have been there, done that and got the T-shirt. I am in my 40's, and I am interested in ANY wisdom given, I wanna treasure and make use of every day of my life to the fullest. What would you tell your 40 something-year-old self if you could turn back time? Doesn't matter what it is, or what it's about, what would you tell yourself? Are there any life changes you would warn yourself to make right now?
Blessings to you, my sister in Christ Jesus. In my life I have no regrets from my past, nor do I have any regrets today. I am just a man that walks with The Lord. That said, He has made me about others. You see, this whole thing is about Him in us. Nothing else really matters. He has annoited me to preach the Gospel so that is what I do. I never know what is going to leave my lips, but everyday He works through me that some might be saved. There I times that I walk in the flesh and there are times that I walk in The Spirit. That can change in the blink of an eye as The Lord wills. One of the first words you heard from(through) me was balance. This is needed in our walk. There needs to be downtime. That is why it was said to be ready in season and out. Full speed ahead may be good for one but not so good for another. If these 2 were together as one then they are a balance for each other. Does not the day compliment the night and the night compliment the day? I hope I didn't go to deep in this as I tend to be really deep as is my teacher. So if I would go back to age 40 what would I tell myself? Do not worry about what you are about to suffer, it will not compare with what The Lord has in store for you.
Like you post sunshine. I wish that I had accepted the Lord at a very young age and avoided all the screw ups (like being a drunk, being in debt and so on). God bless you honey. You remind me of my lil' sister. Keep postingThis question is for those with a little age and experience in life, those people that have been there, done that and got the T-shirt. Philippians 3:13-14 is as true then as it is now. How does one know if that split milk that happened yesterday won't be one of those best lessons in life. This question is for those with a little age and experience in life, those people that have been there, done that and got the T-shirt. Well, I'm not over forty yet, but I would tell and show my younger 20-something self, I would show him all that I went through and what it took for me to be where I am now, and asked him if he really wanted to go through all of that, to be what I am, and what he will be, when He's older, if he thought he could get where I am now without having to go through all of that...?This question is for those with a little age and experience in life, those people that have been there, done that and got the T-shirt. But no, rather, I also count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus
my Lord, for whose sake I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them to be dung,
so that I may win Christ Philippians 3:8
