CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Nobody should say "I am gay, or strait, or whatever". Everybody should say "I have my own sex desires, and that's my busyness". To say somebody's sexuality is this or that is an open door for prejudice. Our sexuality is a very intimate issue an nobody should be worried about it.

I would still Love my child as dearly as I did before, and would still continue to pray for daily like I did before, I would accept my child, and treat them with love and dignity that we ALL as humans deserve.

That would be one of the best ways to totally destroy any self worth your child has ever had. You are basicly telling your child I don't like you for being you. I like you for what I want you to be not for what you are. Get a vasectomy Now before it is too late.
