Matt 28:17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful.

Doubt has some reason for it -- 1 John 4
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God

2 Thess 2
4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

2 Cor 11:14 No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

And what relivence does that have to nor believing that what one sees is not Jesus.

well 1 John 4 and Gal 1:6-9 make it a question of checking the doctrine of the one appearing as "a test" to see if it is legit. They do not say "if a spirit appears it is always false".

IN the days of Christ some Jews adopted the idea "if someone shows up claiming to be the Messiah it is always false" and other said "it is always true". Neither of which turns out to be the right answer.

I would treat that as superstition. The devil cam be in God's presence, they certainly tried to oppose Jesus and it took his direct command to banish them.

So be very careful.

The cross is what the demons dislike since God manifested His glory.

What would you do if our Savior Jesus Christ showed Himself to you?
If Jesus were to visit me, He would have a reason. So I would just respond to the conversation He wanted to have with me. We are to do all we can to love God & Jesus with our heart, mind, soul & strength.

In a dream or vision I presume.

What everyone else did in the Bible where God shows up in His glory. Notice for example in Matt 17 what the disciples do.

Whenever Jesus shows up in my dreams, I don't bow down.

The Lord desires worshipers in Spirit and in Truth. Physical gestures have no relevance.

Moses speaks to the Lord as would another person.

Knowing the Lord's business, you are no longer servants but friends to Christ - John 15:15.

Since many Christians keep saying, the Lord's business is unknowable out of fear or lack of interest, then you will remain servants to Christ.

A variation of another question presented already.

Thank you for time.

Well if I do not see this:

Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

I'm going to believe this:

Mat 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

I mean a guy calls himself jesus on youtube for crying out loud. He is even 'verified'! He has a following that a couple of documentaries have been made about. People actualy worship this dude.

*** Sorry, I got my jesuses confused. The Jesus that is being worshiped is in siberia***

I would view it as a demonic counterfeit.
Yeah, me too. I'm the perpetual skeptic, and if I run into someone who says he's our Lord Christ, my response would most likely be to tell him that I'm Czar of All the Russias. Our Lord revealed Himself in no uncertain terms when He appeared after His resurrection. If He chose to reveal Himself to me in that manner, I reckon I'd prostrate myself before Him and beg His mercy.

Yes. Jesus said fairly clearly that if someone says "Here is Christ" or "There is Christ", don't believe them.

1) That would not be the time to be thinking well how bout that.. He doesn't look anything like His pictures.

2) I don't think that I could know now what'd I'd do then. My imagination could not compare with such a possibly real event as that.
