As was said earlier, check for the wounds of His Passion.
That means little, because a demon can replicate those. There are instances where wounds have appeared on people's hands, called stigmata.

No, he cannot replicate the wounds of the Passion.

These are marks of humility and the obedience of the Savior to the Father, which demons cannot imitate.

I'm saying nothing about stigmata, because there is no evidence that they cannot have a psychosomatic origin.

And in and of themselves, they mean nothing.

But they are not demonic per se.

I wouldn't trust any vision of Jesus. If this was when I died and my spirit went to Him, then I would run to Him and or bow before Him and praise His name. I would want to also hold Him and thank Him so much for His goodness and mercy and for the good things He has done in my life. For I know that any good done in my life is because it was GOD working through me.

A variation of another question presented already.

What would you do if our Savior Jesus Christ showed Himself to you?

Thank you for time.

He does in the eucharist.
If you doubt that , you should brush up eucharist theology!

That's what He told Thomas to do! And then He said to Thomas, you believe because you have seen me and seen my wounds, blessed are those who have not seen, and yet believed. That's us! We have not literally seen our Lord... but we believe in Him!

In answer to the question, I would do what you and others have said. Check His wounds.. then fall down and worship Him.

To the OP.. What a wonderful question this is. Brings up so much joy in us!

I had a very vivid dream once and saw Him in a dream.

There is a child in the dream who led me to his "friend". It was night and his friend came barreling through the forest like a wild beast and then appeared right in front of me. At the same time, the child beside me is suddenly gone.

First thing I said, how did you do you that???

The man smiled at me, grabbed me by the shoulders and took me to a water well where women are drawing water.

He said to me "I will teach you everything I know if you follow me".

At that point, I have kinda made out who the guy is and realized that is Christ.

But then I flatly refused His offer. I told him, I have so many problems to take care of first. I would probably regret the answer I made.

But then I saw Him smiling at me instead. He gave a really big smile. He told me "I don't really need to teach you these thing, you already have them in you.....just need to figure it out.."

Have no idea what just happened there... Is it a trick question?? Is He testing me??

We later talked about a few things. It was a very casual conversation and I am talking to Him as a friend which is most pleasing. He loves talking about fundamental stuff, riddles and I love it!

Ironically, I took exactly the same path now I should've. He's correct in a sense, what I'm looking for is already in me.

Not believe it.
God does signs, miracles etc for a reason.
Whatreason is there to appear before someone who already believes with the need for such things.

In a dream or vision I presume.

What everyone else did in the Bible where God shows up in His glory. Notice for example in Matt 17 what the disciples do.

Matt 28:17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful.

Doubt has some reason for it -- 1 John 4
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God

2 Thess 2
4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

2 Cor 11:14 No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

I don't think it's necessarily good to share any personal visions over the internet, unless it is one that is specifically meant to be shared.

So, we can look to scripture though to find the answer:

At best, we are going to be like Isaiah I'd think:

Here, before we are more perfected, but only doing well, progressing (being 'righteous', fearing the Lord, following his commandments), then it would be like this:

Isaiah 6:5 Then I said: "Woe is me, for I am ruined, because I am a man of unclean lips dwelling among a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of Hosts."

And of course the Lord makes a provision to save him from the unraveling/destruction that would happen to the not yet fully pure self.

God is able to protect us from His full glory of course!

It's so interesting the way He protected Moses before Moses passed on (and Moses later will come from heaven to be with Christ during the transfiguration, but the apostles (even though already cleansed by Christ and His words to them (Gospel of John)) will fall on their faces in terror when God speaks).

Had some things happen in my life with Him but..will answer your question. The image of this guy.. this man Jesus that died for the world fades away in my mind. This is no man... this is GOD.. His love radiates ...gets stronger and stronger the closer He gets. This is the one that created all...cant get my head around looking at GOD. I would stop crying.. I lol cry now just thinking about this. I would fall at His feet.. wanting to stay right there forever. Not feeling worthless or such. Holy holy holy...would wonder.. how can something be so BRIGHT yet I can see Him. His eyes.. how can they be endless...

He is so worthy to be praised..

The implication being that if the Savior Jesus Christ showed himself to you, then you would eat him.
