What should i pray for when i fast?

I am going to fast for 24-48 hours straight, but I have max prayed for 1 hour straight, because prayers run out, needs run out, i dont know more words to praise God or so...What should i say when I fast then? Thank You.

Just 1 hint, do not fast and pray alone cause its too hard.
Nevertheless good decision to do this though , you cannot run out of prayers when you pray in tongues and pray for all who are beloved by you.
praying and fasting doesn't mean to grow yourself purely, you have to take others up in your prayers too for that is necissary too .

I've never fasted and prayed before without a specific reason beforehand.

It's not something to do 'just because' it seems a spiritual thing to do. That's a little like deciding to go painting with no particular place or color in mind.

If your fasting and praying... whether you know it or not there is a burden on your heart. Ask God to show you what it is.. Then go from there.

Do a Google search for both "Bill Bright" and "fasting" and you should find info on the Campus Crusade For Christ International site about guidelines for prayer and fasting. Don't feel like you have to pray for a certain length of time, but if you feel like your praying has "dried up," for lack of a better term, spend time reading the Word and ask the Lord what He wants to show you.

GOD gave us all our words and doesn't need them back.

GOD has everything but your heart. So when you pray let only your heart talk to GOD.

No matter what words you use you can't impress GOD.

many religions fast and for what.. do you think it will bring you closer to god or do you fast for health.many other faiths other then christians fast but it is said that they will never see heaven because they believe in buda or allah and not jesus.so i say when you pray..... pray for the true love of every man and for all to be equal in the spirit.who says that all the different gods are not a vision of the one true god..many wars have been waged in the name of god.after all bush claime this war is in the name of god.i do not believe god backs hatred and murder.even in the bible times there are stories of mayhem...what if we are wrong about what we read and are destined to be savages towards one another..i like to believe in a softer side of our spirits....

You shouldn't tell anyone when you fast, even online... especially if you keep track of relationships here or esteem from others. The heart is deceptive above all else, so one has to blindly follow the rules, knowing we are not better then anyone else.

Prayer should likewise be secret.

Fasting should come natural, because of an intent on your part, a natural longing. If you have to jump start something, that is good, but keep it top secret, even from friends and family.

It is even okay to give a cover story, as Jesus pointed, out make sure to keep track of your appearance. People will just naturally let themselves go during that, so keep your hair straight and such.

As for prayer, it depends on what you think you are lacking, prayer for what you should be looking for is itself good. Don't babble on repeating verbatim nonsense you don't really mean.

I find the Lord constantly correcting me in prayer... it is trivial to go into unbelief or selfishness in prayer.

All thoughts should always been considered as being thought in the eyes of God and the cloud of witnesses. Nothing is ever secret as it appears.

Fasting should help you remember that bond, making the world separate, and making that true reality more apparent.
