What self-improvement items are you working on?

Feeling wanted/needed....ummm self esteem

Tidying up my bedroom. (I'm still a messy girl.)

Building a new relationship with my younger sister and nurturing my relationship with friends.

Putting the equipment for home Physical Therapy together and use...and sticking with it.

Thinking before I speak.

My next goal after I do that is - praying before I speak.

Self improvement is exciting when the Lord is leading the way !

First on my improvement list:
renewing my faith-- consciously doing things throughout the day to strengthen my faith. Reading, studying and researching Christ and his word . Praying. ALso, reminding myself , especially at work or commuting , to live each moment for Christ. Also To recognise earthly pressures and anxieties-- i.e. cliques and co-workers etc.
AND-- eliminating swear words from my vocabulary. Everyone at work cusses and swears so it is very hard to break free from that. I only do it at work, but it is another wordly influence that I am working against. The thing that is important about the swearing is that it reminds me of how conformed to this world I am.

And last, I am trying to prepare myself to be fruitful. To be part of the vine rather than a weed in the vineyard.
Whew-- that's enough for now !!

Lots of great stuff everyone is working on ! My rough language is nearly non existant now so I feel I have made a lot of progress in that area. Only thing is, I only use rough language at work and I haven't worked much in the last 2 weeks !
My faith, focus and walk with the Lord is progressing well. I am in a women's Small Group,a Community Outreach Group and I have a Faith Mentor . Plus I am spending less time on the computer/net and more time studying the word and other faith related materials. Now just for fun I
watch a few DVD episodes of the Simpsons LOL !!!
My finances are okay right now, but lack of work has got me rearranging my budget-- the best tool ever known for making peace with your finances !

My prayers that we all put our anxieties in God's hands.

WOW ! Just read through a few old posts on this thread... stuff I never thought about giving up to God but should:

procrastination - my middle name
organize clutter - my other name
mudane tasks - ugggh !

help Lord ! The worst part about the above three items is I end up resenting people that use all their free time being too perfectionist in those areas. The opposite extreme of me, which is just as bad yet I resent them for it --- sheesh ! Go figure
Also I think I am being too conformed to this world if I let any of this stuff bother me too much
