Very good, Among the days between the Passover and the Day of Pentecost, there are eight days which are specifically called, Sabbaths.
Leviticus 23: 15, 16 KJV And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days;
The Wave Sheaf was waved on the 3rd day from the Passover, on the 16th day of the first month, the day after the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, defining the 15th day, which was the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, a Sabbath.
From the Wave Sheaf, then, the Israelites were to count seven Sabbaths complete or 49 dayseven unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall ye number fifty days. This 50th day was the Day of Pentecost. These eight Sabbaths were in a perfect 7- day sequence, although they could occur on various days of the week, depending on which day of the week, the new moon occurred. (The new moon being the first day of the month). If the new moon happened to occur on the 7th-day Sabbath, then, all of the eight days named as Sabbaths, also occurred on 7th-day Sabbaths.
This same principle, also,applies to the four remaining Sabbaths that occur in the fall feasts in the seventh month. The four days named as Sabbaths are: The Feast of Trumpets, the first day of the seventh month; the Day of Atonement, the tenth day of the seventh month; the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles, the fifteenth day of the seventh month; and the eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles, the twenty-second day of the seventh month. (Leviticus 23:24, 32, 39)
Although the spring feast were observed without variation every year, this was not the case with the fall feasts, observed in the seventh month. Every seventh year, the Sabbath year, these fall feasts were observed with special ceremonies indicating that their main fulfillment must be in a Sabbath year. (Deuteronomy 31:10-16)
There was only one feast day that had extra special significance in the Sabbath year, and, also, in the Jubilee year. That feast was the Day of Atonement.
In the Sabbath year, on the Day of Atonement, a certain class of Hebrew slaves were set free. However, in the Jubilee year, on the Day of Atonement, all slaves were set at liberty.
If the new moon of the seventh month in the 7th Sabbath year, happens to fall on the 7th day Sabbath, then all four of the days named as Sabbaths in the fall feasts, occur on 7th-day Sabbaths in these two consecutive years, the 7th Sabbath year and the year of Jubilee. To state again, if the new moon of the seventh month, the Feast of Trumpets, in the 7th Sabbath year, falls on a 7th-day Sabbath, then, the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles and the eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles would occur on 7th day Sabbaths, as well, as would the next Day of Atonement, which is the Day of Atonement of the Jubilee year. This shows a perfect 7-day sequence for the days named as, Sabbaths within the fall feasts in their specially designated years when they have their greatest significance.
Am I making myself clear enough, up to this point?
