Probably been asked here before, but I think this is an interesting topic. Vehicles show a lot about character, don't you think? ;)
I own a 2001 Dodge Stratus...used to have a purple Ford F150 4x4, but had to trade it when I started school because the truck wasn't terribly economical.

How about ya'll?

Well, before I tell you about my car, let me first say that no, vehicles don't alway show a lot about character, especially first cars. lol They tell a lot about your budget though!

I have a 1991 Geo Prizm...my first car--bought it with my own money...it's economical and it gets me from A to B, but it's boring, old, and ugly. And it has 120k miles on it. The fuel filter is rusted in there really good, too, and it desperately needs to come out. I took it in to the shop and they told me that if they tried to take it off they'd break the gas lines too, so they didn't do it. Since then I have been spraying WD-40 on the thing to make it come loose. I hope it will eventually, since I have already bought the fuel filter and everything.

When I first got the car I was impressed with it, being ignorant like I was. I had no idea what to look for, and that's why I took my dad with me. It was for sale at $850, but I took it off the lot for $640. We had been looking for a long time and the only thing we had found was junkers and wrecks and pieces of trash. That car was different. And since it's a Toyata product, it had been doing very well for its age.

Ok enough rambling for now...

.......next car is gonna be a 2001 or newer RAV4 or 2001+ Toyota Tacoma....though.......... ok now I'm really done...

2004 Peugeot 307 HDi 2.0 + cruise control, CD player, AC, electrics pack and alloys.

It's the first diesel I've had and it's a great car imo. Really nice to drive, great on the motorway (where the cruise control comes into it's own) where the 2.0 L engine gives real grunt for overtaking. It is a bit on the large size and it feels like I'm driving an MPV at times, and I especially notice it when I'm in someone else's car and we pull up beside another 307, it looks huge!

I'm particularly fortunate as it's a company car and I didn't have to pay for it :D
