I am curious of the end times views on this forum. I would appreciate if you would vote on this poll to see what the majority view is. Thanks.

***Note: Please don't debate views or argue with others on this thread. There are plenty of threads for that. If you want to post your view, that is great. I know this is a touchy subject for many, I just know it can get heated. I mainly want a poll to just see how views are split.
Jesus gave two accounts in Matthew 24 for the Jewish people. verse 23-31 was about the Second Coming (where the Church comes back with him immediately after the tribulation) so the Jewish people would understand because most of them will not accept Jesus until after the Rapture sadly, Jesus warns them to flee Judea after they see the Abomination and not to fall for the tricks of the Anti-Christ and False Prophet, for I WILL COME FROM THE EAST as the Sun rises.

Then in Matthew 24:32-44 Jesus speaks to the Messianic Jews of the future, who will need to watch for the Rapture, and be alert. Jesus came to minister to the lost sheep of Israel only. He was making sure both the Saved Messianic Jews and the Jews who were unbelievers had the information they needed in the End Times.

Some will be Raptured, but most will have to go through Jacobs Trouble.

We will be caught up in heaven that is undeniable.
I have intensively studied the whole Bible and I know there is nowhere that states; 'God will take His people to heaven'. [or similar] So your statement above is very deniable.

There will be a kind of rapture when Jesus Returns and gathers His own to Him. Matthew 24:31 Those are alive and remain, as Paul says: 2 Thessalonians 4:15-17 This is in no way a going to heaven event, Jesus is on earth and we stay here with Him.

The whole idea of a rapture is only construed from scripture by inference, supposition and sheer wishful thinking. It is false teaching, just as Paul warned in 2 Timothy 4:3-4
We have the Lord's work to do here, Jesus said going to live in heaven is impossible for humans. John 3:13

I have intensively studied the whole Bible....

There are also those who have intensively studied the bible and do not agree with your findings. Though rapture is not in the bible caught up is.

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. - 1 Thessalonians 4:17
For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. - 1 Thessalonians 5:2
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. - Matthew 24:44
The bible tells us to be ready, for such an hour as we think not Christ returns. In the times like Noah... In the times like Lot... Where they existed as in every day terms, until they were raptured away. And after they were raptured then the plagues of God fell...

Noah - The great flood
Lot - The angels leading him out of the city
Christians - The rapture... Meeting Christ in the clouds and in the air.

Boy, I'm sure glad this thread didn't result in debate

Hi Winken. It's good in a way to see a healthy debate, it means that believers care deeply about these issues, as they should. If no-one was interested that would be a cause for concern.

As to the OP pre-trib here. We are objects of grace, not wrath. God Bless :)

I voted for a Pre-Tribulation Rapture. If you or anyone else is interested, you can see my End Times Chronology here:

Pre-Trib Only - A Chronology of the End Times

It includes a chronology with Scripture of the Pre-Trib Rapture, the 7 year Tribulation, the Millennium, the Judgement, the Final New Earth, and more.

The rapture can happen any time, any year, any future time period. The state of the world has no relevance.

For those with an ear......The rapture is an individual event which must happen to you in your lifetime or you've missed the boat! The door is shut...get ready for the rain. Better start looking up..... watch as well as pray....but by all means...Watch!

Those with Doctorates of Religion, etc, fit the category of wise and learned. Matthew 11:25
Though rapture is not in the bible caught up is.
I addressed the 'caught up' of the Lord's people when He Returns. It isn't in any sense or form a removal to heaven.
I reiterate: the rapture theory is a false teaching that leaves those who are fooled by it, in a state of lethargy - why worry, I'm going to be outta here!
The Bible prophets say many times that the Lord will protect those who call to Him of His terrible Day of wrath. Joel 2:32, Acts 2:21
A Day years before the Return of Jesus.

I think, in general, people that don't want to go through the tribulation, styled their understanding of the bible to accommodate that, so they see scripture as saying we'll be flown out before disaster strikes. At least that's how it is with those who came up with the theology, the rest, just buy into it for the same reason.

Yes, they do, Bible also says there will be martyrs, so between that and some other bad things the Bible say will happen, it has some terrified to the point, they just make it go away.

Won't be the first time that's been done with hard to swallow Biblical truth...*sigh.

They also bear credentials, one is either capable of recognizing and honoring them or not.

Romans 11:
3: "Lord, they have killed thy prophets, they have demolished thy altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life."
4: But what is God's reply to him? "I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Ba'al."
5: So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace.
6: But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.
7: What then? Israel failed to obtain what it sought. The elect obtained it, but the rest were hardened,
8: as it is written, "God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that should not see and ears that should not hear, down to this very day."

1 Peter 2:
1: So put away all malice and all guile and insincerity and envy and all slander.
2: Like newborn babes, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up to salvation;
3: for you have tasted the kindness of the Lord.
4: Come to him, to that living stone, rejected by men but in God's sight chosen and precious;
5: and like living stones be yourselves built into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
6: For it stands in scripture: "Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a cornerstone chosen and precious, and he who believes in him will not be put to shame."
7: To you therefore who believe, he is precious, but for those who do not believe, "The very stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner,"
8: and "A stone that will make men stumble, a rock that will make them fall"; for they stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do.
9: But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's own people, that you may declare the wonderful deeds of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
10: Once you were no people but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy but now you have received mercy.

We're chosen among the many who will reject "the spiritual stone" that we understand and speak from.

Revelation 6
9: When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne;
10: they cried out with a loud voice, "O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before thou wilt judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell upon the earth?"
11: Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brethren should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.

ALL flesh of MAN will be killed during this temporary generation but ALL MEN will remain in the IMAGE OF GOD where they were created.

What really happens is that all the visible images in the Minds of Men are burned away by the Fire of God called hot molten lava. That high heat will delete the information called Satan and the Beast so MAN and GOD, the spiritual kingdom will only deal with information called Christ in the New Heaven and Earth. All the new images will be formed from Christ ( Word of God ) that will never appear "evil" and all the thoughts that are formed from Christ won't contain "evil" thoughts.

For those with an ear......The rapture is an individual event which must happen to you in your lifetime or you've missed the boat! The door is shut...get ready for the rain. Better start looking up..... watch as well as pray....but by all means...Watch!

All false prophets have been telling their followers for the past 2,000 years to watch for signs and wonders.

Deuteronomy 13
1:“If a prophet arises among you, or a dreamer of dreams, and gives you a sign or a wonder,
2: and the sign or wonder which he tells you comes to pass, and if he says, “Let us go after other gods, which you have not known, and let us serve them,
3: you shall not listen to their words of that prophet or to that dreamer of dreams; for the Lord your God is testing you, to know whether you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
4: You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear him, and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and cleave to him.
5: But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death, because he has taught rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to make you leave the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. So you shall purge the evil from the midst of you.

The Voice of the Lord speaks directly into our MIND until we understand that all those visible signs and wonders are only formed illusions that will pass away once the flesh has been killed. The flesh is formed from information called Lucifer within the Mind of man. Lucifer is deleted after the flesh is killed.

I doubt it...God never was one for mind control...that's always been part of the deal.

Who teaches that, BTW?

So, is the Bible true, or only true to people who are prepared to be flexible about what truth is? (ie., 1000 equals 100, or 1000, or 10,000, or just some indeterminate big number?)

Cheers, Strivax.
Do you think it can only be true if it's 100% literal? Or is there room for symbolism in your Bible?
