Lets look at the unpardonable sin.

What is it?

Let start here :

A.) The blood atonement... The shed blood of Jesus.

God offers this, as John 3:16.

To the "world".....to as many as "believe".

So, that is GOD's pardon for everyone, offered 2000 yrs ago.
If you reject this blood sacrifice pardon, then you die un-pardoned. You die unforgiven. You die LOST.
Jesus explains this as "if you do not believe in me, you will die IN your SINS">

Listen Reader, there is only one sin that God can't forgive.
Its the sin of rejecting God's forgiveness.
How can God give you the blood of Jesus as your redemption, if you REJECT IT. ?
He can't.....> as you rejected it.

So, the unpardonable sin, is when a person rejects God's forgiveness. = rejects Christ and dies.
In that case, God can't forgive you in eternity, as you have rejected God's eternal forgiveness on earth.
This is the ONE and ONLY, unpardonable sin.
Its Christ Rejection.

If you reject Christ, God can't forgive you.
So, that is the one SIN, that is not pardonable. = The Unpardonable sin.

Saint, look at this verse. John 3:36

It says that God's judgement is already on the unbelievers, while they are still breathing.
The unbelievers are already damned, before they die.
THIS is the unpardonable sin, being committed by all unbelievers.
They are not waiting to be damned, they are already damned.
Hell is already theirs, they are just waiting to Go.
And they way you get out of that damnation that is already on you, if you are not born again, is to believe in Jesus and be born again.... and then the unpardonable sin is no longer being committed by you.

Most Christians have the false idea that after death an unbeliever is going to be judged for their lifetime of sinning.
But that is not the case, reader.
They will only be judged for ONE Sin.
The sin of CHRIST REJECTION, as that one, is the unpardonable sin, and they have committed it.
That is their damnation. = Christ Rejection.

You are correct, there can be no doubt that the unforgiveable sin is rejecting God's forgiveness.

Matt12v31Because of this I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men; but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32And if anyone speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but if anyone speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, neither in this age nor in the coming one.

A man blasphemes when he rejects the conviction that the Holy Spirit brings direct on his heart.

But it is erroneous to insist that until a man acknowledges the death and resurrection of Jesus, he will not be forgiven.
To fully understand new birth and forgiveness (separation from our sins) we must recognise that Jesus was the God who walked with Adam, the God who walked with Abraham and Moses etc. and all the way through the OT pages.
These men had no idea of the legal transaction that necessitated the death of their Messiah, they just believed and placed their trust in Jehovah, the Rock of Israel, otherwise known as Jeshua.

There is no unpardonable sin for an individual person all sin was forgiven at the cross. The Messiah took away the sin of the world , for believes and unbelievers.

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

The only unpardonable sin was for, "the nation of Israel only", because they rejected Jesus as their promised Messiah, for the reason of doing His miracles by the prince of the demons and not by the power of the Holy Spirit. The unpardonable sin is found only in Matthew 12.

In the same way you claim Israel rejected their Messiah, so have millions of Gentiles rejected their messiah.
And in the same way, millions of Gentiles, along with millions of Israelites, have accepted their Messiah.
When it comes to eternal life, God is no respecter of persons.
When it comes to eternal damnation, God is no respecter of persons.

I am not saying people have not rejected The Messiah. But that sin is paid for just like every other sin. The reason they go to the lake of fire is because they are not found in The Book of Life.

They are not in the book of life, because they did not receive God's free gift of Eternal Life by trusting in The Messiah for Eternal Life.

At the great white throne judgment they are judged for their works not their sins.

The sin of unbelief

A cause and a reason are not the same thing. Unbelief is the cause for the unsaved not having eternal life. Not having eternal life is the reason they are
condemned to hell.

Heres some on blaspheme, which could be helpful or not

Blaspheme against equals speaking against in the definition of it
  1. to speak reproachfully, rail at, revile, calumniate, blaspheme
  2. to be evil spoken of, reviled, railed at
Mat 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you,
All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men:
but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

Mat 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him:
but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him,
neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Luke12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him:
but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

Mark 3:28-30
Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness,
but is in danger of eternal damnation:

He points out what this is also saying,

because they *said*,

He hath an unclean spirit.

Blaspheme is defined as something spoken against, even as Jesus said, because of what they said, (and against Whom it was directed) the Spirit and power that worked in Christ.

Now, Paul said that he was before "a blasphemer", he even confesses so much to the same in 1 Ti 1:13. He also said the same was forgiven him for doing so (even in unbelief and in ignorance)

On that point, I have heard some say Paul was a blasphemer against the Holy Ghost (which Jesus said would not be forgiven men) which is not the same as blaspheming (or a word spoken against the Son of man) who is actually shown as being set for a sign "TO BE spoken" against) as Simeon stated so much in Luke 2:34

When we see Saul yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord Jesus in Acts 9:1 and those against the sect itself (as it was called) as the same is noted in Acts 28:22 he is shown as a persecutor of the Church (even Christ himself)

Saul can be shown to be both a persecutor (even against the church) and injurious also (having delivered them up to death) and confessed to being before a blasphemer (in 1 Ti 1:13) and in Acts 26:11 we see he sought to compelled them to blaspheme.

But it does mention that “all manner of sin and blasphemies” by which men blaspheme would be forgiven them even a word against the Son of man shall be forgiven him in Mat 12:32 as Jesus said, and so likewise we see Saul/Paul stating that he has been forgiven of the same.

There is blaspheming (and in all manner of it) which men do where it shall be forgiven men and where it shall not be forgiven also.

Here...

Mat 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you,
All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men:

but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not beforgiven unto men.

Mark here speaks of "all mannner of sins and blasphemes"

Mark 3:28-30 Verily I say unto you,
All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men,
and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness,
but is in danger of eternal damnation:

Whereas Paul said himself,

1 Ti 1:13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious:
but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

And of these also which blasphemed are shown here

1Titus 1:20 Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander;whom I have delivered unto Satan,
that they may learn not to blaspheme.

Blaspheming similarly in that fashion would be of that which can be forgiven men (in this age or the next) as was Paul who was before a blasphemer, so I would conclude these to fall under all the blasphemies wherewith soever men shall blaspheme shall be forgiven them.

Those pertained to speaking against but did not pertain to this one

But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness,

And because they *said*, He hath an unclean spirit.

Then we see

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

It was by the Holy Ghost Jesus did these things. As He was anointed with the same and he went about healing all that were oppressed of the devil

Whereas they attributed the works done by the Holy Ghost (in and through) Jesus to him "having" a Beelzebub

Mark 3:22 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said,
He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.

They were not speaking a word against the Son of man (after the flesh) but rather they were speaking words against the Spirit of Christ (the Holy Ghost) by Whom Jesus did His good works through, even casting out devils

Whereas again, they said,

By the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.

Which is making reference

By the Spirit (with power) they are speaking to

Then he asked them,

How can Satan cast out Satan?

Theres the equation.

Following it through to his speaking about blaspheming against the Holy Ghost, or speaking against the anointing and power Jesus did his works by

Which again, shows,

Mark 3:30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

Every mention in the above is of the Spirit in Him (not of Him)

He (HATH) Beelzebub
and (BY) the prince of devils (ie Satan) he doeth these things
Saying basically he (HATH) an unclean spirit

Nothing of the Son of man was being touched in any of that (Mat 12:32) but against the Holy Ghost that was in Him which was being referred to in those three ways. That was all against the Spirit in Jesus (The Son of man)

Listen Reader, there is only one sin that God can't forgive.

I like to tie in
Matthew 12:30-32: "Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. And so I tell you, any sin and blasphemy can be forgiven. But blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
and consider that the blasphemy of the Spirit, in light of the fact the demons who have never believed are condemned already, Jn 3:18, was in fact the Satanic rebellion when they put their faith in the belief that YHWH's claims to be our GOD were the lies of a false god which removed them from HIS salvation for eternity.

Satan did not accept or worship YHWH as god ever, he never believed, he was not YHWH's right hand who wanted to take HIS place - he rejected from the moment he was asked to consider YHWH's deity that YHWH was lying...

All the satanic demons and the sinful elect were flung to the earth, Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. to live together with the sinful elect good seed,
Matt 13:28 ‘An enemy did this,’ he replied. So the servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’ [bring the judgement upon them?] 29 ‘NO!’ he said, [postpone the judgement because...] ‘if you pull the weeds now, you might uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. ...and the only growth to maturity that saves a sinner from the judgment is a mature holiness which is obviously encouraged by the abiding suffering cause by the evil ones.

It's why all are drawn (John 12:32) but few are chosen (Matthew 22:14)...it satisfies both God's election of the saints, while justly condemning the reprobate.

Jesus is the God who created the world and all that is in it.
Jesus is the God who walked with Adam in the garden.
Jesus is the God who regularly appears in the OT narrative.
Jesus is the God who led the Israelites out of Egypt and across the Red Sea.
Jesus is the God, who as commandeer of the Host of the Lord met Joshua outside of Jericho.
Jesus is the Rock of Salvation that King David worshiped in the Psalms.
etc.

Thus believing in the God of creation is believing in Jesus, who is the God of creation.
