The right concentration could be what it is now, 400 ppm, as this allows higher food production by plants, sufficient to feed everyone on the planet.

At lower levels of yield similar amounts of fuel are used to plough, seed and harvest the crop but for less food, having sufficient CO2 available to the plants is a necessity.
