10 commandments called the Law of works...Romans 3:20..therefore no one will be declared righteous by the "works of the Law" rather, through the "Law" we become "conscious of our Sin"...Gods' 10 commandments are not called the "law of works" they are called holy, just and good by Paul in Romans 7:12 because they give us a knowledge of what sin is when broken in Romans 7:7. As posted earlier, the scriptures teach us that sin is the transgression of God's law *1 John 3:4 and that it is through the law that we have a knowledge of what sin is in Romans 3:20 and Romans 7:7. James says if we break anyone of God's 10 commandments we stand guilty before God of sin in James 2:10-11. As asked earlier, if Romans 3:31 that we discussed earlier says that faith does not abolish God's law and in fact it establishes Gods' law in the lives of those who believe and follow what God's Word says, then do we have faith by not doing what God's Word says?
Notice: works of law, or Law made us conscious of our Sin... (gives us the knowledge of Sin)..
