Is Satan truly the God of this fallen world?
The Scripture says that the god of this world has blinded the minds of those who believe not, lest they should see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:4). Satan has a legal right to rule this world and all those who have never received Christ as Saviour. But when a person received Christ, he is taken out from under Satan's rule and his life is hid with God in Christ. He is then in the world, but not of it. Therefore, although Satan can buffet and persecute him, he has no authority over the Christian believer.

Is Satan truly the God of this fallen world?
I would be careful calling him "God" with a capital G. He is in no way Divine. Merely a creature, once an angel.

But he is allowed to have great influence here, and the state of sin and fallenness and tendency to corruption has been the state of the world since the fall of man. This state is Satan's "realm" so in that way he reigns over it. In that sense he is "the god of this world".
