Does it need a pump?

Not necessarily. I think that in insects the blood is moved around the body by the movements of the animal.
In other words, without a pump, would the "blood" be true blood?

Yes, I think so. Provided that the blood can carry out its function of transporting nutrients and oxygen, and removing waste matter, the existence of a pump is not essential.

It's not really a definition if the terms used in the definition are themselves undefined.

That section of the Bible you quoted seems to only apply to animals. How do you define blood in the context of the Christian definition of life?

As used in the verse, it is not in a form of definition. But it could be made so.

You are talking about theology now. It is NOT only used on animal. It implies the Blood of Christ and the function of sin clearance. That is how "life" is defined in the Bible. For example, Christians will have life because the Christ shed His blood (die, loose life).

I would emphasize my another question: should blood "circulate" in the body of a life? The mechanism of circulation could vary. In another words, if a fluid "passes through" a life without being circulated back, then it is not blood. The water-urine is an example.

Because constant dissembling is provocative and arguably constitutes goading under forum rules for which you could receive warning points. For repeated offenses you could be suspended and eventually banned. I suspect that had you been reported for all of the instances of which you have been guilty you would have been history a long time ago.

Be my guest.

Is 'blood' in this context is a metaphor for life in general or the life eternal that Christian's get?

Theologically, both.
But I am interested in the science of it. So, it is neither. It is simply the physical blood as we know it.

But rocks don't bleed.

I'm still not following your definitions. Is there a succinct definition with defined terms of your Christian version of life?

A life must have blood.
Now you can see why am I trying to define blood very precisely.
