Is that the one that takes place in the Diner? If so, I liked that one too.
It is! There is also an Encounter 2 and an Encounter tv series on pureflix; all with the same main actor. ☺

Pureflix have some really good stuff. It's just a shame there on demand service isn't in the uk.

I enjoyed encounter it was very twilight zone. Blink of an eye was fun to watch as well.

I recently rewatched the thief in the night series and was disappointed at how they held up. Distant thunder was still ok.

I agree. I remember watching them when they first came out and thought they were pretty frightening, actually. I watched them again about a year ago, and they just seem silly now.

I was terrified when I first watched them.

I guess it's just very much of its time. I was also really disappointed with the end of Patty's journey. Felt it was a bit throw away after being emotionally invested for two movies.

I'd have to say that I'm not a big fan of "Christian movies," but here's some of the ones that have piqued my interest lately:

1) Risen (2015) [movie]
2) A.D. The Bible Continues (2015) [mini-series]
3) God is not Dead (2014) [movie]

Though none go with me (2006)
War Room (2015)
Love comes softly (2003) is another I liked but very loosely Christian..God is only mentioned once or twice and man is seen singing a hymn. So doesn't really classify. Clean movie though

I don't watch movies where an actor plays Jesus because I find it wrong, but I did enjoy The Ten Commandments to a degree. Although not a Christian movie, I enjoyed the theme of faith in Braveheart of all things. The story of Soul Surfer was good and inspirational. Chronicles of Narnia the animated version has a soft spot for me - used to watch it a lot growing up. The Book of Eli is complete fiction but it's awesome.
