I have been thinking that verse where it says something like to ”flee to the mountains” it’s haunting me in a good way.

Feel happy about receiving a lot of compliments about my face since I've stopped wearing a mask at work last week. Started my job a few months ago so no one has seen me before (besides a few co-workers who I had a get together with). While not as pronounced in men, I do somewhat dread getting older. A lot of change can happen during the 30s decade. Although I do think my baby fat/roundish face will help in the aging process. At least it did for my Mom.

Regarding masks.. I do sometimes feel sad.. because by the time this whole Covid thing is over.. a lot of people are going to miss years of their life going mask less. When they finally can, they'll just look older. We've already been doing this for a year and a half.. while I hope the second wave isn't as long as the first I guess I do not know what to believe anymore.

Yeah. Although it's still voluntary at work.. just today.. a lot more people were wearing masks.. so I felt funny not having mine on.

Well I was in the ER today and the doctor showed me a little trick that makes it easier to breathe in them. We have a family member that’s in dire straights right now with it. So I decided to just start it up again.

Ah. What's the trick? I breath in mine just fine.. hardly notice I'm wearing it. Still.. I don't like the idea of having to cover my face for months at a time. You just feel more closed off from the world. It's nice to be able to convey facial expression with people for example.

You know what a figure 8 looks like? Well you twist the elastic string on each side so it looks like the top half of a figure 8. Make sure the mask is in the correct position and insert your ears in the top half of the figure 8/loop. It allows air to circulate better through the sides and allowed the doctors that wore glasses to wear them without glasses getting fogged up. He said it still protects but makes it easier to function in them. Everyone in the hospital was wearing them that way.

I got a long roman nose.. masks don't usually fit well on me as a result.. so I find doing the pretzel helps with that.. had no idea it made breathing easier.
