I have serious issues with guns, but have no problems with RESPONSIBLE adults owning them, and having them properly locked up so they can't be misused. Period.I agree with that.
As far as right leaning positions go, I do not really have any strong opinions against people who own guns, even the more powerful ones. I respect people's right to own them for protection.

I've always found Tolkien's line on that (given to Gandalf) quite persuasive.
