Let's take it from the top...

Demons are loosed on Earth through the internet because of the Supreme Court.

Tower(s) of Babel are still in Iraq

ISIS, portals to Hell, Demons, and D&D.

The Supreme Court opened the internet for porn.

Porn is blocked by default

Constitutionality of laws doesn't matter. It's the supreme court's job to protect children from "defilement".

I don't know...you tell us - you brought the topic up.
I did not bring it up. Someone else suggested that cern was opening up portals to allow demons to enter I to the earth. I said the only portal I see open to demons was the internet and then I asked what that had to do with cern.

They call them Ziggurats. Here is the foundation from one of them. They go back as far as UR. Abraham was a Chaldean from the city of Ur. That was an advanced people to be able to build these structures.

The brower requires you to set your preferences when you first use it. It is little more then clicking on a button that is no different then any other button your clicking on. So your actually making my point for me that the supreme court is not providing adequate protection for our youth, here in this country and around the world.
What browser are you using/talking about? For the browser I am using (Google Chrome) it does not require you to set your preferences the first time it is used. It simply sets everything to the default.

Also, the Supreme Court is not capable of making rulings on what other countries have as laws and would not be able to make a ruling saying Canada for example does no have adequate protections for their youth. As you said in an earlier post:
f parents want they can install software that blocks their children from having access to questionable material.
It is, like many things, up to parents to monitor. One would not blame a the company that made an R rated movie if a parent showed it to their very young child, would they? It would be the parent's fault for letting them see it.

I didnt know what this Cern in Switzerland thing is or (even after looking into it this evening) what it has to do with computers. So I am lost on any of that.

However, I will agree there definately seems to be something real big going on with this thing even as Steven Hawkins and another brilliant scientist are issuing HUGE warnings on this thing (and on whats going on with them experimenting with this right now).

Now I am no scientist, so what do I know? Not too much. So, I cant even articulate what it is they are doing, but Steven Hawkins is one of the most respected scientists on this planet (in the eyes of most men), and the warnings Hawkins is issuing in respects to playing in this area of things the way they are is above and beyond what I would expect, which warnings pertain to blowing up the universe type of warnings (and he is an athiest). Not that that should matter on one level of things but it might get the point across that he has no apocalytic sort of mentally (being more of the athiestic scientific genious) who is warning them in doing this.

I spent most this evening combing through what I could learn over at youtube on it but this does seem to be a big thing and the scientist as they dig further are apparently running into paranormal ativity and thats all I will say.

So I was combing through vids and saw this CERN in a video title showing a pulpit, and thought, cool, let me see what one of the pastors in one of the churches is saying (just to get an idea) from a less scientific viewpoint and hear a christians viewpoint (or whether he could make sense of it a tad better) even though he knows he cannot speak as a scientist (or use their terms) but you can sense the same alarm in him (as is in Steven Hawkins). They are agreeing together, even though one is a believer in God and the other an athiest (who obviously does not) and these agree. This meaning, one coming from a scientific point of view (and the other from the spiritual) while these other scientists are experiencing the paranormal in this thing (and these are not believers).

But if you want something that gives you a quicker overall of what is going on (simply put, with God in it) but who agrees with Hawkins and yet have someone who can fill you in, I believe this guy can (then go off and check it out yourself).

I dont know who he is, I could have spun a bottle and just landed on his vid, that is unimportant, he was just conveying what I was searching out in the same way I was sorta catching it as I was cominbing through these things.

I have never looked up this CERN thing before (ever) and I still have no clue as to how the OP wants to work the whole computer deal thing into it, THAT would be the least of anyones worries in this thing.

There are other lengthy scientific vids, I would say look them up

This man doesnt speak unagreeably with them, it might be more understandable to a christian (as by a christian) in why this might be important for them to understand what is going on with it, so I am posting it
The biggest issue that struck me right away is that he said the particles were moving "at or above the speed of light". They are moving near the speed of light, not at or above. That is actually sorta important, as if we were able to move particles above the speed of light, it would in a sort of way time travel.

He then talks about 'paranormal activity' that is happening at CERN. Ghost and spirits, claiming they happened at CERN without every giving an example. He goes into talking about Shiva, the god of destruction. He then says that the scientists saw 'apparitions' during the collisions and then goes into talking about a spirit world...

None of this he presents with any sort of source or evidence.

To me, he sounded like he had next to no idea what was actually happening at the LHC. The LHC won't end the world, you don't have to worry about that. It won't open any 'portals' or the like. All a particle collider does is accelerate particles (usually protons) to extremely high kinetic energy, then impact them with other particles. All this does is let us observe the byproducts of these collisions, usually showing us extremely short lived particles, or particles that can only appear at these very high energy levels.

How do you search on Youtube or elsewhere, looking to find out what is happening at CERN, and end up at a video of that pastor? What search terms do you need to enter to reach that video? There are so many genuine videos out there of people talking about the experiments that are being done in the LHC, and about what they teach us; why not watch those? The LHC is an extremely complicated experiment at the cutting edge of science - what would an unqualified pastor know of it?

I already posted Hawking's exact comments earlier in this thread, in response to a different post.

If you really wanted to inspire your fellow Christians to research for themselves what is happening at CERN, then why didn't you post any links or videos to what is actually happening there, rather than only posting a bunch of unsubstantiated drivel from people who clealry don't have the first idea about the experiment or the science behind it?

To your first question, how do I search? A couple of ways, through different keywords (found in that topic) as they come to me typically, whether on google or through youtube. Depending on whether I want to read or watch something, and given I was up all night and have difficulty reading that late at night I chose what to watch as it caught my eye or ear. But after I was finished watching more of the scientific vids for the evening, I simply typed the word CERN back into the search box over at youtube clicked on the filter and chose "upload date" and that vid appeared on the bottom of the very first page, it was just that simple. Someone else could have asked me why did I bypass him and go to the second page (without hearing him out) if I did and question concerning why I skipped over him.

The pastor stated he didnt know it all on the video, I wasnt looking for a know it all I was looking for someone who could convey what I too was hearing, as I was hearing it (not perfectly, but close enough) and through a christian preferably losing the scientific jargon. Thats the best I could do even though I still dont know what this CERN is even if someone asks. I only identified with the fact that that pastor seemed to be getting somewhat the same I was hearing in the other vids I was coming across (whether correct or incorrect) as I cannot know until I look further into it for more then a handful of hours. But what I was looking for was someone to to speak very simply without speaking like a scientist but who believed in Jesus Christ the Lord (and preferably communicate with the same. Chosing to get an idea of what he heard in the same and what (if any) connections he could draw, from another possible perspective (outside science) alone. If at all there was one according to him.

You seem to be assuming I know what LHC is to believe that I should somehow know right off the bat what to do with it. I dont. Even if its an abbreviation of some sort I am just as bad with those (sorry again). You also seem to assuming I am finished researching (that I must have come to my final conclusion) when I have continued to state I had not even heard of CERN (ever) until this thread opened and that I am in my very first hours of searching the same out. Which should be obvious to someone with half a brain since I cannot even spell the other ultra brianiac's name in my post.

But I typically feel my way around, but thats just how I go about my things until I get a better feel for whatever it is I am looking at. I hope you dont mind (thats just the way I do things) without ever having to answer for it, and will likely always do that because often it pans out when I give it more then the handful of hours into a thing (as I have here).

And you seem to be insinuating I chose that video because I prefer something not so genuine and that I also diliberately chose to avoid this LHC thing when I have repeatedly stated I know nothing (or what that stands for).

I would trust people know how to use google to search out all things available about CERN (for themselves) and find their way around in order to come to their own conclusions eventually. The title of the OP is a question "What is CERN"? Its not like I stated, " I know," I have said I dont know repeatedly (but here is what I am hearing) in respects to where I have searched out and what I have heard somewhat in agreement with (in that alone). But I am still searching it out. I believe it might take more then a few hours to do so.

And that will be my last response because I only have more "I know nothings" to add to what I already added and I can take up lots of space adding more of the same (or not).

I have next to no idea what a LHC actually is as I just said in my last post, whether its an abbreviation for something or not, and to give you a clue as to how bad I am with abbreviations I didnt know what OSAS meant either (and never asked) for all years until this last decade. But I am honestly not worried about the world ending so much (because I look forward to departing) but its not something I worry about.
I am better with the scriptures then I am diving into mens things, and I am here doing a little self experiment in the same, as this is my first time in 25 years ever touching anything of conspiracy theorist and mans wisdom in things just to see something for myself. But I know nothing whatsover of where to self correct on this matter, I wouldnt even have known that "at or above" the speed of light should be at or below it (or not). Couldnt say. I still have to feel out who knows more in this area of things because I certainly dont. I might typically cut a brother or sister some slack over details that might mean very little to me in biblical things I am not asking about, however in science or math a little miscalculation can makea more of a difference in one over the other, and I certainly cannot judge that yet.

But thats what I do, I take in knowledge first (then sort through it) as I gain more knowledge (and know better I discard). But you stated the same things, you could be right, but you gave me no reference. Scripture is my reference for spiritual things but there is no chapter verse ever offered in carnal things, or at least none that is offered, but each one tells you how wrong you are (then they tell you what something is) but if you quote them another might come along and tell you who told you that (and just do it all over again).

So... I think this is a good lesson for me, I should back off of carnal things, its not even as rewarding to dig into so much either.

Thanks for your post also

LHC is a an acronym for "Large Hadron Collider". An atom is made up of three particles and consists of two parts. In the outer part, electrons are present. They have a negative charge and are very, very small, even when compared to other two particles. The electrons orbit around the nucleus, which is the core and determines what element the atom is. The nucleus is comprised of neutrons, which have no charge, and protons, which are positively charged. Neutrons and protons are called hadrons, because each one is comprised of three quarks.

The LHC smashes together hadrons (protons, usually), and is called the 'Large' Hadron Collider because it is the biggest particle accelerator in the world.

It really isn't very hard to find out what the LHC is. Simply entering "LHC" into Google will bring you plenty of results about it.

But thats what I do, I take in knowledge first (then sort through it) as I gain more knowledge (and know better I discard). I'm sorry, but I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to say here.

Seriously now, all of you. Opening interdimensional portals through which demons travel happens in Lord of the Rings, and in Dan Brown novels.

But the LHC isn't fictional, it exists here in reality, where demonic portals are just not a thing.
I don't remember any portals in LotR? That's StarGate stuff. Stop shiping fantasy universes! Blasphemy!

Funny that no one has brought up the whole "the LHC will create a black hole that will devour the earth" issue, which was a real controversy for awhile. It turns out that cosmic rays with greater energy than the LHC hit the earth all the time, and no black holes (or portals or stargates or towers of babel or demons or the antichrist) have come popping out. Read more here: http://press.web.cern.ch/backgrounders/safety-lhc. A tidbit:

Cosmic rays
The LHC, like other particle accelerators, recreates the natural phenomena of cosmic rays under controlled laboratory conditions, enabling them to be studied in more detail. Cosmic rays are particles produced in outer space, some of which are accelerated to energies far exceeding those of the LHC. The energy and the rate at which they reach the Earth’s atmosphere have been measured in experiments for some 70 years. Over the past billions of years, Nature has already generated on Earth as many collisions as about a million LHC experiments – and the planet still exists. Astronomers observe an enormous number of larger astronomical bodies throughout the Universe, all of which are also struck by cosmic rays. The Universe as a whole conducts more than 10 million million LHC-like experiments per second. The possibility of any dangerous consequences contradicts what astronomers see - stars and galaxies still exist.

Ooh, I feel I should mention that demons and portals were pretty light on the ground. Like just a Pazuzu and a Nurgle or two, but hardly anything noteworthy.

what is being used is witchcraft and alchemy, and in these last days a combination of occult practices and advanced sciences to open doorways, forbidden doorways through which fallen angels(demons) will enter through into our reality disguised as aliens from another planet.
Your argument fell apart at this point.

Science isn't witchcraft or alchemy. It has nothing to do with beliefs we left behind centuries ago. As for the end of days, I thought we had past that. It was predicted to be a few years ago, and a few years before that and repeatedly since who ever came up with the idea.

As for Aliens. Prove it.

I never even heard of particle physics so I can not help you there. My study of physics had to do with light and color.

:( :sigh: SHM really ??

I watched part of this and came to the conclusion that the presenter was either 1) perpetrating a really sick joke, 2) completely stark staring mad or 3) scamming gullible viewers out of their money. It's high time for this sort of thing to stop. I am a Christian, I believe in the incarnation and the resurrection of Jesus. Communicating these ideas is made harder by this sort of lunacy
