What is biblical truth when there is no consensus?

What a man assents to, is by itself no measure of his standing.

There are even demons who concede to those points and many believers who profess them all shall hear the words;

Matthew 7:23 KJV
. . .I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

James 2:26 KJV
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Are you trying to say that you don't consider me a Christian?

Can’t seem to post a connected reply to Jeff Saunders last post so this is my response to his comment which said;

“Does not James 4 tell us not to judge our neighbors? It says who are you to judge, that’s Gods job .”
—————
So testifying to the truth of scripture is now judging people?@&?

Has God not said that many who believe shall be cast out? Matthew 7.23.

Has he not said;

James 2:20 KJV
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

Seeing that you testify otherwise in supporting the error in post #137, can you honestly not see by your testimony that you judge God as a liar?

Should I also testify that God is a liar by claiming that all who confess to believing the apostles creed are my Christian brothers, regardless of their works?

So when Christ says;

Matthew 7:20 KJV
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Do you make sure to tell everyone that he is a liar, because we actually know people by their words?

If a man discern error in the body what are his options?
Clean the wound, apply a bandage, let the wound heal.

That's the first step Jesus lays out in Matthew 18, because healing is the desired option.

18:8 If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble,
cut it off and throw it away.
But what is the first option? And what is the most desired result?

If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.

The first option and the most desired result is not amputation but healing.

And if he refuses to have the wound cleaned?

I consider anyone who can assent to all those points to be a fellow Christian”.

Did Jesus say we would know them by their words or by their fruits?

Does a wolf in sheep‘s clothing not confess that he is a sheep?

Do you think Jesus would have spent so much time and so many scriptures trying to alert us to deception if it was simply a matter of listening to someone’s confession?

Do wolves not lie?

Is it a sin to teach error implying Jesus deceived us?

1 John 1:9 KJV
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Thanks for your reply.

What do you believe about the elements of communion/the Eucharist? (the blood and the body)
Are they symbolic, or literal?

What is the biblical truth in this matter? Is there consensus?
I think both.
Symbolic in the carnal body.
Literal in The Spirit.
