CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Soul girl, You say that if there were a God why would he let all the bad happen that does? I wondered that too until I came to understand that If God stopped everything bad from happening then he would take away one of the biggest gifts he gave all of us , The gift of choice, called free will. And also please let me ask you this: If God did everything nice for everybody how could we be like him, I mean if there were no poor how could we help feed others that didn't have, or people that get sick , if they didn't we wouldn't have anyone to visit and comfort and show our love and caring to. Do you see what I mean? 
I personally don't think I would be very happy if I couldn't help others, and care about others and give to those who don't have. I don't think I would have a purpose at all here on earth? And then I would feel totally worthless.
