On the Book Club sub-forum, I'm planning to read and discuss a book with another poster and would welcome anyone else's participation. This is the book we are discussing: Possessed by God: A New Testament theology of sanctification and holiness (New Studies in Biblical Theology): David G. Peterson: 9780830826018: Amazon.com: Books

Our plan is read about one chapter a week and discuss it. The book is about 150 pages (minus the notes), so it shouldn't require too much time away from other reading.

Just ordered the reprint by Hendrickson of Institutes of the Christian Religion by Calvin. I'm looking forward to marking it up. After reading bits and pieces of it online for years I'm convinced the translation is a little more literal than the two volume McNeill edition. It is true the McNeill edition contains a lot of helps such as notes and references, but still...why not have both?

Is it the one in that picture? If so cancel your order and i'll give you mine. I got it last year and barely touched it. I would be happy to see someone get some use out of it.

That's the copy I have.
