  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

books have become very expensive in the Uk over the last few years , I mainly order from Scotland , Ireland and Amazon .... I would like to support Christian bookshops but the one in our town is theologically all over the place , the one 45 mins drive away is Reformed entirely , I have been going there for over 20 years but is now very expensive ....

Amazon have some excellent rare works that have been recently re-published , such as W Copinger on Predestination (I have been seeking it for over 20 years ) Veritus Redux by John Edwards and

Thomas Edwards Gangreana: Or a Catalogue and Discovery of Many of the Errours, Heresies, and Blasphemies and Pernicious Practices of the Sectaries of this Time, 1646

again reprinted .

I didn't think I would ever find these scarce works , they came to my attention in the mid 80s upon reading the excellent Steele and Thomas ; 5 Points of Calvinism bibliography (original print)

I just ordered Pauline Eschatology by Vos and The Cross and the Covenants by R.B.C Howell from Reformation Heritage Books :: Home

The title by Howell was out of print so I ordered a hardcopy of Absolute Predestination by Zanchius and Personal Declensions and Revival of Religion in the Soul by Winslow.
