This isn't anything personal, but it was brought up on a radio station this morning I listen to - Klove. This BP oil spill is on a much bigger scale than I thought. I didn't realize it was still flowing out, a month later. The memorial service for those lost in the explosion is today I believe. The radio person said that we've prayed for those lost and their families and have prayed for the damage the spill itself has caused. The general thought though was that no one there had prayed with the public, that the leak stop. Looking at pictures and stuff and reading articles, this thing is a massive monster of a problem in soo many areas and lives. There's stuff being put out there to counteract the oil, that is possibly more poisonous than the oil. I joined in the prayer on the radio, and just passing it on here. We're praying that this leak miraculously stop now or that they can get this thing capped off tomorrow with this next last ditch effort. Sorry so long on a "global" thing, but it's effecting soo many. Gathered in our prayer at a time when we know there will be people out there attempting to do something (tomorrow)....can help. All this local stuff that we just kind of glimpse over during our daily routines, has been really convicting lately. We can do soo much through prayer, if gathered in mindsets and timing. Thanks, God bless
