What If His People Prayed?

The Lord just touched my heart with a prayer for a family that I met at church tonight. A mother and a child with down syndrome. I've noticed that the mother might be lagging with keeping care of his needs.

*DISCLAIMER* I know nothing about them, personally. So I'm not really going to go beyond what I observe. All in all, I could be totally wrong, but God burdened me nonetheless.

It's probably both very rewarding and draining caring for the needs of someone with down syndrome. What I want to know is this: What happens to someone whose family passes on and is left with noone to take care of them?

Help me pray for this particular family, please. I don't remember their names yet.

no joke, but it's like the "problem" is "rearing it's ugly head" today for all to see...regarding my son. We now have a source of origin and can start some treatment. That will be tended to today at 2pm. All the symptoms and ongoing off and on fever the past 3 months was forcing us to start looking at specialists/hereditary abnormalities.

As gnarly as "this issue" looks today and how miserable he is....at least we can see it. It's not an unknown anymore and much simpler than all the "scary" stuff that was being put in my lap. lol Thank you God! Whoo! Thanks for the prayers! I have no doubt that they are a part of today. It literally looks like the illness is being "forced!" from the inside-out so it could be seen...after months...its's suddenly "there" and it wasn't yesterday guys. lol k..gotta go ~big smile~

Please pray for my family, friends and I that we will end up stronger than our struggles and get past the many obstacles Satan has put between us and God. And please Lord, cure me of this horrific illness (You know what it is) so that I can serve you and your people better. This daily battle has worn me down spiritually, emotionally and physically. Praise God for all the blessings that He has given me!!!

I could really use some prayer still. I don't want to go into grave detail but I'm really struggling over some things. Thanks.

please pray for my former coworker. she was diagnosed with bowel cancer about a year-ish ago. She's been told that she has 2 years left at most and she will never come off of chemo.

Also please pray for my (former) supervisors. One has been diagnosed with bowel cancer just recently and has been fighting an infection of some kind. I'm not sure how far along her cancer is but I'm praying they caught it early enough to be able to effectively treat it.

and my other super is on leave right now because her husband is dying. He doesn't have long to go and from the sounds of things it could be any day now.

so yeah. they need God's healing and comfort right now.

My new job is coming along okay... but I'm really nervous about my training being over and it all being on my shoulders to have things running smoothly.

God has been soo good to me lately. I'm getting to see Him in a different way and I'm slowly growing in faith and getting close to Him again!

Prayers needed:
That I continue to grow in faith and getting closer to God.
