You think he did evil by refusing to hear her apology? I've already indicated that I disagree, and that the important thing initially is that he forgives her in his heart. Your quote is indeed from Scripture, but the application is from you.
Let's look more closely --
The woman stood there with her face hanging out, and her expression dropped about three feet. She started in with, "Oh, my gosh, I am so sorry...." but he held up a palm facing her and said, "Save it. You blew your chance for that ten minutes ago." Then he turned and walked away.
21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?”
22 Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times."
Matthew 18 NIV
---------------
14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
Matthew 6 NIV
Ask yourself though if the OP story shows he forgave her in his heart. The actual real vet may well have (we can't omnisciently see in his heart), but in this particular telling, we see a picture of a character that isn't forgiving her, or certainly not when she apologizes. So, I'd pray for him that he indeed forgive her, and that he come to Christ if he hasn't yet. That would be a good prayer.
