Parables don't refer to real people. Parables use symbols to represent something else, so the two people in the parable are symbols.
And ... , Abraham is not -the Abraham- ...

Then, ,,what is the message Jesus is trying to tell us with that parable of the Rich man and Lazarus ?
which the main point seem to be:
Luke 16:23
23 And in Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

The Rich Man and Lazarus is effectively among the parables used by Jesus ...Does that mean the parable does not refers to something concerning the two principal person mentioned by Jesus ie the well known Lazarus and the Rich Man...who have died during Jesus' time ?
KJV list of Jesus' parables :
The Parables of JESUS - King James Version (KJV)
Lazarus is a popular Hebrew name and it means "God will help". That's why the name was used in the parable. It has a pertinent meaning.

The point of the parable is to show the fate of the Jews (the rich man) for rejecting their Messiah, and the comfort that awaits the Gentiles (Lazarus) who will accept the Messiah.

Notice that the rich man calls Abraham "Father" which indicates that the rich man represents the Jewish people. Also notice that even though Jesus rose from the dead, they still did not accept him, just as the parable foretold.

But more than 3,000 of the Jewish people have accepted Jesus at Pentecost Acts 2:41 ....
Details:
Acts 2:41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
That day about 3,000 people were added to their number. ... So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and there were added that .... were made from the Hellenistic Jews who were present at the Feast (Acts 6:1); and (2) .... more than the twelve apostles, it was but two hundred and fifty men apiece; and there ...

+add to that than Lazarus was a Jew NOT a gentile ...ooops !

Lazarus is a popular HEBREW NAME and it means "God will help".

Our spirit continues on to God but leaves our body on earth. In heaven we are given a celestial body. Our body will be buried and rest with our fathers our spirit will have peace and rest in heaven with our heavenly father and our relatives that have had faith in God. But evidently God makes miracles at times and in rare occations dead people are sent back to life on earth with a purpose or to fulfill Gods plan for their life. Sometimes somebody was praying for them.
