Or maybe explains how there's no other changes - as I've said regarding your New Zealand example, it would have changed the ocean currents dramatically, thus causing large differences in the climate.
Or, regarding the Nelson Mandela example, explain why the guy who was president instead of him didn't cause a drastically different South Africa.
But no, all you've done is say, "I really believe that this happens, and here are some other people who really believe that this happens." There is nothing you've presented that can't be explained by memories not being as reliable as you think, even if you are really really sure they are correct.
