  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

when I do write, its non fiction. One day I will be one of the top theologians in the nation...

:p

Yea - that'll be the day some 600 plus years from now!:D

I am about to write down non-fiction. It's on my mind for almost 3 years, about time to write it down.

Music: Some of the oddest, genre-busting stuff on acidplanet.
Words: Fiction. I try to write cyberpunk, but otherwise, just like....fiction. Mm. The one I wrote for NaNoWriMo is kind of sci-fi (it's cyberpunk in my dreams), but not the cyborg and Star Trek kind.

I write screenplays. Right now I'm working on 3 different stories. One is a comedy about a girl suffering of anxiety and depression and her first step towards recovering and mending her relationship with her Christian family. Another one is a drama/sci-fi set in the near future about disappointment and regrets and wasted life. Nearly half of it is in spanish and takes place in the past.
And the most complex one is about superheroes and villains. Yes, superheroes and villains. Plenty of dismemberment and incited abortions and lost innocence with a quasi-dogme 95 approach to the narrative. In this one I'm trying to be as "artless" as possible, if that makes sense, so I'm using a very vignette'd and disjointed narrative. And this one is non-fiction, btw.

I write chapter books, short stories, and the like. I love to write fantasy and historical things.

What IS it with Fantasy? I mean, everyone (but me) seems to be writing it... I simply ask: Why?

also...with writing fantasy, you have the chance to make up your own world. It's really fun to do. :D

Yeah. Also, when you create your own world, you can make it any way you want. You don't have the same restrictions you have when your fantasy story is set on Earth. But if you want to make it really exotic, be careful. Make sure that what you want to do doesn't go against the laws of nature. lol.
