What do you think about (as a christian) listening to Kelly Clarkson???

Like, I mean, I personally REALLY like Kelly C. but I'm not sure if God likes her music. I don't know and I was just wondering what everybody thought about her and if her music is okay!? please help....don't know what to do!

I don't see anything wrong with Kelly Clarkson, I mean shes not my all-time favorite singer, but she has a beautiful voice and has a some good talent. She is one of the American Idols that actually has something going for them.

Hey, sis. There is nothing wrong or against the Bible about listening to secular music. Use your best judgement. You could be listening to a LOT worse than Kelly Clarkson from a moral standpoint. If you enjoy her, then listen to her. If God is the center of your life, then you're fine. I can't say this for sure, but I'm pretty sure that God isn't going to look down upon you for liking a certain singer. Just relax sweetie, ok?

C'mon, people. I know it's the in thing to do to bash most pop stars, but seriously, Kelly Clarkson has some great songs. Since U Been Gone (even though it says "U" instead of "you") is a very good pop/rock song. At least she can sing and she also co-writes her songs.

As far as christians listening to Kelly Clarkson, I don't necessarily see how you can say that God hates secular music at all. Unless you have some divine revelation that the rest of us don't, the bible is pretty clear that Christianity isn't about rules, but using wisdom and discernment as we enjoy God's creation, music - even secular music- included.
