What do you think about (as a christian) listening to Kelly Clarkson???

who cares about the producer??? I would disagree that a christian should listen to whatever they want,, but I have no idea what Eric meant......would you not eat you food if it was handed to you by a nonchristian?? are you going to ask everyone who comes in contact with you "are you a wiccan?" In the bible, God said it was OK to eat the meat that was offered to false gods unless doing so would offend another christian or cause them to fall.

I think it's not a good idea to listen to Secular music. Think about this, you like a certain singer, ok the artist is not a bad person, the artist does good works and believes in God. But say, the artist is produced by a satanic worshiper..

The music has been touched by the unclean. And say the radio stations are also unclean to the Lord. Then how as a Christian does that affect you? Or how does the Lord see it? Ask yourself What would Jesus do?

Do you only buy food from a Christian supermarket? Do you only use appliances which have been designed and built by Christians? Do you only look at paintings which have been painted by Christians? Do you only visit Christian doctors/dentists/optometrists etc? Do you only read watch/read/listen to news presented/written by journalists who are Christians? Do you only drive on roads which only Christians drive on?

There are so many things that we do where we don't take any notice of the religious beliefs of the people involved. Why then should music be singled out?

I say pray abt it....you shouldn't take our advice...go ask God, read the bible to see if you think it says you shouldn't, but personally, I do listen to her for entertainment. Her songs don't go against God(like some bands I've found) so I have no regrets for listening

And, actually, i don't understand the point of this question. You have already decided that you like her music. So, therefore, if two hundred people tell you that her music is evil and one person tells you that her music is from God, my guess is that you will go with the one person anyway, simply because you have heard exactly what you want to hear. If this decision is the biggest problem in your life, I think you'll be just fine.

Please don't tell me that you listen to Avril Lavign as well.

It means you're violating his Will and you're loving it. Sorry for being blunt. Anyway it;s up to you. You can take or leave my advice...if I'm right you will be held accountable for what you hear. Please know what you're talking about before you make blunt and incorrect statements like that. Being blunt is one thing. Being incorrect is another. And when you're blunt and incorrect, that discredits your statement even more.

yeah, I've stoped listening to AFI, & Avenged sevenfold, which I really loved at the time.....they're lyrics were anti-God, so i stopped listening..
