I was just wondering what people looked for ... what do you see thats most important in a person, whats most valuable?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What do I look for in a girl?? hmmm definately a sense of humor, she has to not smoke, drink, or do any other drugs, be completely devoted to God, and just be really sweet and nice - treating herself and other people really good.

I wanta girl that will stand up for what she believes, a girl that will tell me just what she thinks, she has to care about other people. She loves God with all that she is and will give him everything, devotes her life to him, doesn't put on a show for everybody else. A girl that will put up with my strangeness and my old-fashion beliefs.

You guys and gals got some great values! I'm so delighted to see the teens putting the emphasis on the important things - don't lose that. (In other words - don't watch tv and have your impressionable sweet minds filled with all that poison! )
Having a Godly mate as a husband or wife is critical! Everything else has to build on that relationship with the Lord. Next is finding what's closest to your heart and prizing those traits in the people you'd like to spend your time with, and build relationships with. The "outside stuff" is peripheral and is all icing on the cake, if you get me!
If you trust God to show you the one He has set apart for you, you will save yourselves a ton of headaches and heartbreaks, hopefully!!

I'm not looking, but if I were..............He'd have to be a Christian. He'd have to be honest and have a good sense of humor. I probably wouldn't be attracted to an ugly man, but it's amazing how much more attractive a person becomes once you get to know them, if they are a great person.

A sence of humor is a definate ( i like funny guys), respect for women errr... girls in my case, i don't want a guy that's hooked on drugs and alchohol, and I really would like a Christian guy. I want someone who is involved in church, that is totally on fire for God and IS walking his talk completely.
