These verses were interpreted literally by some who believed in a flat, stationary earth.

Leave out the "flat" and the point is better realized. "Flat" is non-provable.

If the earth is not rotating then the stars are orbiting the earth at multiple times the speed of light which is impossible, so I'm calling BS on your claims for Einstein.

This reply was to someone who has been dallying in a multitude of exercises in futility , apparently without any good reason to do so.
However, the point of a stationary earth was addressed by Einstein and many other top scientists or mathematicians decades ago --- besides what Scripture says --- a stationary earth is more of a fact proven than a moving earth .

Yes like the Morley experiment which they aggressively refute, by saying the aether does not exists when in fact it certainly does.

They say that 'ignorance is bliss' which is true in this case, most people can't except the truth as it's what they have been indoctrinated into all of their lives.
