Notice that even 80% of Trump supporters are sure the world is round. Which is very encouraging.

In modern times, in what they call pre-school.
One of the very first things, on the very first day, that the teacher will be instructed to do is have the class see and touch a globe.

Did you attend pre-school? Do you remember seeing and touching a globe on the first day? I do.

Nasha "to deceive".

Not in pre-school, no. I didn't attend pre-school. I don't remember seeing a globe in infants school either (5-7 years old). I seem to remember seeing one in junior school (7-11 years old), but as it fitted with actual observation, I don't think it was to beguile or deceive. For example when I was 8, my parents took me and my two brothers on holiday to the Netherlands. We sailed there. We couldn't see the Netherlands from England, but as we got closer, we could see it, exactly as one would expect on a globe.
