regarding the words of Jesus, we are complete in Him and He gave us the victory, that is the purpose to not add to the words, as they ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO BE ADDED TO.

Jesus through Maria Valtorta provided more detail that isn't mentioned in the books that make up the New Testament. And nothing is impossible with God. If Jesus wants to elaborate on His earthly life, then He can do so, and He did :]

Mark 13:23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

Mark 13:21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:
22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

Paul could speak about his life, his earthly life, but the details would not cause us to have belief of him following Jesus Christ, but when we hear of the suffering of Jesus Christ in apostle Paul, we know also that is the example the other apostles write about also.

We need examples to follow, as we remember the pharisees touch nothing with one of their fingers, why would we want more pharisees speaking and deceiving ?

Here are some more actual examples, and there are more and more, and there will be less and less to show about talkers in comparison.

Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

2 Corinthians 1:5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
7 And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.

2 Thessalonians 1:4 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure:
5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

Colossians 1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

James 5:10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

now what did Jesus mean when He said turn the other cheek ?

does it mean as the bed ridden, to turn their bodies around in bed ?

no it means as exampled, to be rejected and hurt, while taking up your cross following Jesus Christ daily, and whatever strikes you in life, to not return the evil, but to DO AS JESUS CHRIST, to even lay HIs life down for all, which life you have to have, to be able to lay it down.....

John 10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Is he telling us when we are getting assaulted not to defend ourselves or is that a figure of speech not to be combative?
If you are like an ancient Hebrew under Roman rule, or similar, passively resist. The Roman considers you second class or less, vermin, so if he hits your right cheek he uses his left had, and if you turn the other cheek, he must use his right hand and treat you as an equal.

You still haven't shown that Maria Valtorta is false prophet though. :]
That's right, we have to know Gods testimony of what a false prophet is. Israel does not know what they are, and follows them, as we will see from what God testified in Jeremiah 23.

Firstly God says to not listen to the words of the prophets that prophesy to Israel. They were making the people of Israel vain, speaking a vision, but out of their own heart, not out of the mouth of the Lord.

God begins to separate what is out of their own heart, they are encouraging every one that does the same as the prophets, to also walk after the imagination of their own heart, to be vain.

God now mentions what a prophet standing in the counsel of the Lord would do, who had perceived Gods word and heard it.

Jeremiah 23:16 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the Lord.
17 They say still unto them that despise me, The Lord hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.
18 For who hath stood in the counsel of the Lord, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it?

God again confirms He had not sent those prophets, ( even though all Israel was believing the vain words they prophets spoke from their own imaginations, as the people also followed their own imaginations.) yet they prophesied.

But, as God says, had they stood in the counsel of God, they would be causing the people of Israel to hear Gods words, which is to turn them from their evil ways, from the evil of what they were all doing, following the prophets who spoke not from God.

Jeremiah 23:21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

God also wrote this same testimony in Isaiah. About the remnant of Israel who are no longer the ones punished by God for being deceived by the prophets who encouraged all Israel to walk after their own evil imaginations, as the prophets prophesied out of their own evil imaginations.

Now the remnant stay upon God in truth, a remnant returns though they were as the sand of the sea, the consumption decreed overflows with righteousness, the Lord made a consumption determined in the middle of the land. ( of Israel)

The Lord rose up to do HIs work, His strange work, to BRING TO PASS, His act, ( work) HIs strange act. ( work)

Now there is a consumption determined upon the WHOLE EARTH. To give ear, to hearken, to hear the speech of the Lord.

Zechariah speaks from the Lord of the SAME MATTER, in this day the Lord CUTS OFF from the land ( of Israel) the names of the idols, ( to be no more remembered) and ALSO causes the prophets and the unclean sprits to PASS OUT OF THE LAND ( of Israel.)

When any prophesys YET, it is said they speak LIES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD.

Isaiah 10:20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth.
21 The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.
22 For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.
23 For the Lord God of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land.

Isaiah 28:21 For the Lord shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
22 Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord God of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.
23 Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.

Zechariah 13:2 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.
3 And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the Lord: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.

Romans 9 speaks about the Lord finishing His work, cutting it short in righteousness. ( of the remnant followjng God in truth, and of the prophets passed out of the land, who all lie in the name of the Lord if they yet speak.)

Romans 9:27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:
28 For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.

Jesus is the one to FINISH THE WORK OF THE LORD.

We see the greater works of Christ. ( of Him being dead three days and nights in the earth and of HIs resurrection)

Christ confirms He has greater witness than John the Baptist, of the works the Father gave the Son TO FINISH, as those works BEAR WITNESS OF THE SON, THAT THE FATHER SENT HIM.

Jesus shows He DID NOT COME OF HIMSELF, BUT THE FATHER SENT HIM, AND THE FATHER IS TRUE.

Jesus tells how the Father is true, how Christ speaks to the world those things He heard pf Him.

They know when they have LIFTED UP THE SON OF MAN ( crucified/lifted up on the tree) then it is confirmed it is Him, ( the short work the Father finishes/the Son finishing His work) that the Son did nothing of Himself, but that the Son did exactly as the Father taught Him.

That they should love the Son, ( no other, not love the prophets as all Israel loved) because the Son proceeded forth from the Father, He did not come of Himself but the Father, who sent Him....

John 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

John 5:20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.

John 5:36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.
37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

John 7:28 Then cried Jesus in the temple as he taught, saying, Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.
29 But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.

John 8:26 I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.
27 They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

John 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

The people of Israel ( who are not the remnant to stay upon God in truth from now on/no longer to hear the prophet who prophesy yet, who all speak lies in the name of the Lord.) were told to believe in the works that the Son does in the name of the Father, THEY BEAR WITNESS OF THE SON.

But the majority of Israel believe not, they are not His sheep, HIs sheep hear His voice, ( to hearken to God, of the consumption determined on the whole earth/the end of the prophets who made Israel VAIN) as the Son ( through finishing the work cut short on the earth in righteousness) gives HIs sheep ( the remnant who stay on God now in truth) eternal life, they do not perish, no man ( false prophets who are all who yet prophesy) cannot pluck them out of the hand of God.

Jesus testifies how He has glorified the Father on earth, how He has finished the work the Father gave the Son to do...

John 10:25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

Christ had to prove who He was, and by the work of laying HIs life down, nailing the accusations against all mankind against His cross, receives gifts for men.

Psalm 68:18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.

The prophets had to end, I just showed Gods testimony of why.

NO longer where they needed, as the work was FINISHED IN RIGHTEOUSNESS. ( to believe God rose the Son from the dead is to be saved/believe in righteousness in your heart)

Jesus came in the Fathers name to finish these works, ( and for all the remnant to then follow/stay upon God in truth now/believing in the testimony of Jesus Christ) and instead of receiving the Son all Israel continued to receive the deceivers coming instead in their own name, ( the prophets speak yet and they lie in the name of the Lord)

Jesus questions them how they can believe those who receive honour to themselves, and not the honour that comes from God ONLY. (the Father sent the Son)

John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?

The apostles proved who they were, ( they had to MAKE FULL PROOF OF THEIR MINISTRY BY THE AFFLICTGIONS AS LISTED BELOW) by also doing the same works of Christ in HIs sufferings, ( greater works than these, as the Son went to the Father) raising the dead, laying their lives down, all the suffering for the name of Christ, persecutions, as we see in apostle Paul. If the Son of God has to prove by the works who He was, and the apostle by their works who they were, then the false prophet is known by their lack of the same works.

2 Corinthians 6:3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in fastings;
6 By pureness, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
8 By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;
9 As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
10 As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
11 O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.
12 Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own bowels.
13 Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged.

2 Timothy 4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

God chose Maria Valtorta to be His "pen." Jesus said, "You shall know them by their fruits" and that "an evil tree cannot bear good fruit." You claim Maria Valtorta's writings are heresy, but you haven't provided any fruit of hers as evidence to support that claim.

But a first thing people can think of is, What if a rapist comes in your window at night in order to rape your daughter? Do you let the guy do that, turning the other cheek??
If any individual entered my home intent on carrying through with that or any other potentially extremely harmful act against my children or grandchild, they will eat lead.
Scripture also states, 'Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Carefully consider what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible on your part, live at peace with everyone.'
Having considered 'what was right in the eyes of everybody' involved, it will not be possible on my part to defer intervention.

Here is example of Jesus turning away from the evil He received, in front of the crooked high priest of Israel, and their officers, Jesus shows how they were not bearing witness of evil, as they were the ones doing it. ( as Israel is doing that evil NOW of not turning the cheek to follow Jesus.)

Matthew 5:38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

John 18:22 And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so?
23 Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me?

Acts 23:2 And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth.
3 Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law?
Nice examples. However when one of the disciples took his sword and cut off the ear of a soldier what did Christ do? Knowing this was His mission He said, 'Allow this to happen,' Then He re-attached his ear. He did not say never stand against evil.
Just up a few scriptures from the above we see this, '

Luke 22:35 And He said unto them, “When I sent you without purse and pack and shoes, lacked you anything?” And they said, “Nothing.”
36 Then said He unto them, “But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it and likewise his pack; and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment and buy one.
Scripture does not encourage violence, yet there may be circumstances in which it is justified.

Yeah, Thanks for the recommendation. It's doubtful that I will read it though. Hebrews gives a very brief synopsis. I've actually allowed two different individuals punch me and did not rip out their tonsils on the spot. They were drunk and stupid.
Given that Christ could call for twelve legions of angels and is God, What would the parable of the good Samaritan have looked like if the Samaritan had come upon the man being pounded mercilessly and the event ongoing instead of arriving after the conclusion?
Do we stand aside and exclaim, God bless you, God bless you? Or, as James states get to work and provide the thing they are in need of, in this case, protection.
It is one thing to give up your own life and quite another to give up the life of another. There are events in life that are extremely difficult to get over or through, if at all for some.
I could die today and be delighted. Kinda like Paul said:
Phil 1:21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. So what shall I choose? I do not know. I am torn between the two. I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better indeed. But it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body.

What does the enemy of Jesus do every time he visits anyone , even if he comes as if an angel of light ....... he deceives.
So did she sidestep the Gospel of the Kingdom like others in the name of Christianity do? I haven't browsed the books.

All Scripture shows is that he is to be anathema or totally ignored/ shunned.
Hey, just asking Soul a question. I have no idea about those books and never heard of the woman nor am I interested in going off on any tangent but my own.

5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

Then after Peter receives the Holy ghost, he no longer feared for his life, notice the change..

Luke 22:31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
33 And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.
34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
33 When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.

There is no more sword, when they have the sword of the Spirit, it is not in the scriptures, this is Christian scriptures forum, and peoples opinion is lesser than scripture. ( look on the forum Christian scriptures, notice ow strong, sure and absolute they always are, as I know them quite well.)

So did she sidestep the Gospel of the Kingdom like others in the name of Christianity do? I haven't browsed the books.

No. Jesus showed Maria Valtorta scenes from His public life, scenes we read about in the New Testament and more, and she sees them as a first-hand witness, providing much more detail. After some scenes Jesus gives His commentary about that scene. Maria simply writes down all she sees and hears and is spoken to her by Him at His behest. Her writings were later compiled into a 5 volume book set which you can read online for free: Poem of The Man-God by Maria Valtorta (5 volumes) : Maria Valtorta : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive

I'd like to share but a few of the studies done and conclusions given by professionals in various fields, who've analyzed and tested the credibility of Maria Valtorta personally and her literary works.

(i) The results from the mathematical analysis of Maria Valtorta's Work by Professor Emilio Matricciani and Dr. Liberato De Caro, where they concluded:

In conclusion, what do these findings mean? That Maria Valtorta is such a good writer to be able to modulate the linguistic parameters in so many different ways and as a function of character of the plot and type of literary text, so as to cover almost the entire range of the Italian literature? Or that visions and dictations really occurred and she was only a mystical, very intelligent and talented “writing tool”? Of course, no answer grounded in science can be given to the latter question.

(ii) The results from the astronomical and meteorological analysis of Maria Valtorta's Work by Professor Emilio Matricciani and Dr. Liberato De Caro, where they concluded:

It seems that she has written down observations and facts that really happened at the time of Jesus’ life, as a real witness of them would have done. The question arises, unsolved from a point of view exclusively rational, how all this is possible because what Maria Valtorta writes down cannot, in any way, be traced back to her fantasy or to her astronomical and meteorological knowledge. In conclusion, if from one hand the scientific inquire has evidenced all the surprising and unexpected results reported and discussed in this paper, on the other hand our actual scientific knowledge cannot readily explain how these results are possible.

(iii) In David Webster, M.Div.'s chapter "Proof by Geography and Topography and Archaeology" of A Summa and Encyclopedia to Maria Valtorta’s Extraordinary Work, he relates:

An additional line of incontrovertible evidence (which Valtorta was encouraged by Jesus to include for the benefit of “the difficult doctors” of the Church) deals with the vast amount of geographical, climatic, agricultural, historical, astronomical, and cartographical information given in her work. Authorities in these fields have verified the accuracy of what she has reported with appropriate astonishment. Valtorta accurately identifies this agricultural and climatic information that is often unique to Palestine with the appropriate calendar period which she often specifically identifies. Without any evidence of planning and with hardly any corrections, Valtorta ends up with a perfectly flowing 3½ year story line with Jesus appropriately in Jerusalem and Judea for Passover and Pentecost in all four spring seasons, and at the Tabernacles in all three fall seasons of His ministry. Valtorta shows Jesus to have traversed the land of Palestine from one end to another in at least six cycles (some 4,000 miles), ministering in some 350 named locations, including places in Palestine known only to specialized archaeologists. Not once, however, does she have Jesus (or any one of the other 500 characters) in a place inconsistent with either the story line or distance or timing necessities.

(iv) In professional engineer Jean-François Lavère's The Valtorta Enigma, he writes:

The work [The Poem of the Man-God] overflows with exact data from the viewpoint of history, topography, architecture, geography, ethnology, chronology, etc. Furthermore, Maria Valtorta often provides precise details known only by some scholars, and in certain cases, she even records details totally unknown at the time she recorded them, and which archeology, history, or science have later confirmed.
