For grins and giggles, I went exactly opposite of what I actually believe...the results are interesting!
Unitarian Universalism (100%)
Liberal Quakerism (93%)
Unity Church (85%)
Eastern Orthodox Church (77%)
Mormonism (77%)
Roman Catholic Church (77%)
Jehovah's Witness (62%)
Episcopal/Anglican Church (54%)
Evangelical Lutheran Church (54%)
Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (47%)
The RCC smack dab between mormonism and jehovah's witness....not sure what to make of that....
Obviously this opposites experiment suggests that JWs are closer to your non-opposite responses than are Catholics![]()
I always wonder--on those quizzes which use that Low-High gage--how much this factors in. You give the "right" answer but you're also supposed to say how much you value it or think about it? I dunno.I got some unexpected results. I think it's partially due to the fact that I either had no preference on certain questions and put 'high priority' on several of the questions I did have a preference on.
...and there you have said it just as most people think of Anglicanism. No, I don't think seriously of switching churches because I have nowhere to go.another question out of curiosity: do the gains of anglo-catholicism ever make you want to switch denominations? Until now, I didn't really associate anglicanism with evangelicalism, more like catholicism-lite
Oh dear! I got
Thank you for a most amusing experience and a good laugh.

man... i'm messed up
I'm a Pentecostal because I believe in "charismatic gifts"... and let's be honest... no matter what you put in there if you checked that off then immediately you are a Pentecostal (and since I believe in the trinity I'm not a united Pentecostal). I'm a Seventh-Day Adventist because I said I didn't think Sunday was the only day to worship... yet I also don't think Saturday is either and had it asked that it probably would have thrown me from that group. The test must have figured out I did it in Canada and that's the only reason why I can think I am called a Mennonite Brethren... that and maybe my answer on baptism.
- Assemblies of God (100%)
- Seventh-Day Adventist (98%)
- Mennonite Brethren (95%)
I have nowhere to go.
What exactly do you mean by this? like are there no other churches near you, or is there no other denomination that matches your beliefs as close as anglicanism?
The latter.
Besides, the advances of Anglo-Catholicism have not eradicated traditional Anglicanism, just narrowed the choice of parish.
I thought I'd try the vote opposite of what I actually believe, and here are my results (first 10):
1) Unity Church (100%)
2) Jehovah's Witnesses (90%)
3) Mormonism (90%)
4) Unitarian Universalism (80%)
5) Liberal Quakerism (70%)
6) Reformed Baptist (70%)
7) Presbyterian Church in America/Orthodox Presbyterian Church (60%)
8) Reformed Churches (60%)
9) Southern Baptist (60%)
10) Free Will Baptist (50%)
Conclusion? I think I broke the quiz.
