I invited you to pick apart 1 Jn 3:23. You said nothing except that I'm ignoring Scripture (1 Jn 3:2-10). NTL not a single thing in your quote mentions keeping the law. The same holds true for 1 Jn 3:23. So if one believes 1 Jn 3:23, how can they practice sin?That is taking one piece of the message and forming a doctrine but what about the beginning of the message in the beginning of the same chapter? Does this not teach that obedience is necessary to being a child of God before continuing on to verse 23?

Because of the content of this forum I've having difficulty with what you claim to be saying. What are you calling Jewish law? What commandments of God are you talking about? Some of God's commandments are no longer required because one covenant was replaced entirely by a totally different covenant.
