You are harassing. Non sequitur is a well known phrase with a well known meaning. Live with it.So if you want to find out you do the back tracking. If you want us to know repeat yourself, maybe even provide a link. Otherwise you're only harassing others.
Deuteronomy 1:26-38; Psalm 95:6-11; Hebrews 3 ... - Bible Study ToolsWhat exactly is listening to you? Is listening to you ignoring the NT? Does listening to you mean taking your position as mine? The days when I had to kowtow have past.
Tell that to Dr. Peter Schafer, who is also an Orthodox Jewish scholar.
.
That seems to be the purpose of most threads throughout the forum / site.you are making something simple into a huge mountain...
What does reading the entire thread (as if I haven't) have to do with you owning up to what you wrote?I would if you would read the entire thread...I used "literally" in the informal...meaning "mostly". My point was that Yeshua never left Israel proper, other than when He was a child in Egypt...
What specifically is the will of the Father to you?Good .
And who do those who are born again by the will of the Father from heaven follow ?
DO they still follow hasatan,
or DO they follow Jesus ?
No I ask a specific question about the law which applies to all males who are subject to the law. That is because you do not understand it so you ridicule it...the blue "cords" were tekhelet tzitzit made from the Chilazon...it has been lost for over 1000 years...
Your insistence that not murdering, stealing, committing adultery is following the law doesn't hold for those who aren't religious yet perform in the same manner because their reference isn't Scripture based.Listen, is it OK to murder, steal, commit adultery, etc? Do you do these things? Do you promote them? If not, then you follow the law. Simple...
It's true someone who is born an Israeli (Jew) is still a Jew (Israeli) upon becoming a Christian. So I'm not trying to void their heritage. But in Jesus Christ (Christianity) there's no Jew (Israeli) nor gentile (non-Isreali/Jew).Your referring to the Jews that didn’t understand Judaism and rejected their own foretold Messiah. There is also the Messianic Jews who actually believe and understand Judaism the correct way.
I invited you to pick apart 1 Jn 3:23. You said nothing except that I'm ignoring Scripture (1 Jn 3:2-10). NTL not a single thing in your quote mentions keeping the law. The same holds true for 1 Jn 3:23. So if one believes 1 Jn 3:23, how can they practice sin? That is taking one piece of the message and forming a doctrine but what about the beginning of the message in the beginning of the same chapter? Does this not teach that obedience is necessary to being a child of God before continuing on to verse 23?
“Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin. No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him. Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.”
1 JOHN 3:2-10 NASB
You're not the only one who wonders about this. All I can say is they don't seem to respond to anything said. Yes they quote a post. That's not responding to anything. What does reading the entire thread (as if I haven't) have to do with you owning up to what you wrote?
Here's what you said:
"LOL, literally the entire NT transpires within Israel and the Jewish people...to say otherwise just makes you look ignorant"
To which I replied:
"I guess you have some serious issues with geography too.
Check a map for these locations:
Rome, Corinth, Ephesus, Galatia, Philippi, Colossi... "
Who is broke off and why?Israel is broken off of Israel...not all were broken off, you need to read it again
I guess you never read Romans 11 either...oh well
Are you grafted in or no? Those laws were already in existence before Sinai and you know it.
No where have you responded to this other than this general reference, nor have you said what you think I misunderstand.Graft into what?
Because of the content of this forum I've having difficulty with what you claim to be saying. What are you calling Jewish law? What commandments of God are you talking about? Some of God's commandments are no longer required because one covenant was replaced entirely by a totally different covenant.
What does reading the entire thread (as if I haven't) have to do with you owning up to what you wrote?

Only magnifies them.
We should magnify the Lord instead.
Be blessed in Yeshua today, my brother.
One more time then.Within the context of the discussion, my statement was not thoughtless nor did it have issues with geography.
