Reaction videos, including one where multiple reaction videos were edited together to look like a Zoom meeting. It was funny to how they responded similarly to certain parts, almost like a studio audience.

I was watching Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. Holy heck, it's amazing. Has some religous themes to it (probably one of the reasons I in particular like it), but it's regarded as not just a very good Batman movie, but a very good movie in general.

It was getting late so I'll have to finish it tonight or tomorrow. (have company coming over tonight).

Finished it. Kind of weakens in the final couple acts (felt like the Joker was just thrown in). Could've been an extra 15 minutes longer to flesh some things out.

Now watching YouTube video reviews of it.

Definitely want to re-watch it in a couple years.

Watched a movie called A Ghost Story last night. It had the very things I hate about art house films. There were these pretentious long takes. There's a scene were you literally watch a woman eat a pie for about five minutes straight. Yeah, we get it, she's grieving, we don't need to see her eat the whole pie to get that. That could be conveyed in just a few seconds.

Then the calm ghost guy randomly decides to be jerk and terrorize a single mother and her two kids for no apparent reason.

Then what look like a bunch of hipsters move into the house and this one drunk hippie guy gives a longwinded speech about life and the futility of existence. And what's worse the ghost guy DOES NOTHING TO HIM! He just makes a light flicker! The ghost guy should have hoisted this pretentious douche bag by the saggy pants and thrown this clown out the door like a sack of garbage.

The only good part is the ending were it leaves you wondering what the message was that made the ghost guy finally move on said.

No surprise the latté sipping, Jackson Pollack admiring, Chocolat watching movies critics are kissing this movie's butt over at Rotten Tomatoes.

This movie would have worked much better as a short film than a full length feature.

The Harriet Tubman Movie.

Hmm.. I guess I didn't really know there were black slave catchers. Talk about those with no self-pride. Of course psychopaths don't really care about anybody.. or any meaningful human empathetic concept.
