Was watching a YouTube video on Mormonism. I had always thought it wasn't too different from the rest of Christianity, just tried to incorporate the Native Americans. But one big difference is apparently they believe God isn't eternal, and he was actually born a man on Earth, & he'll die at some point. Which makes no sense b/c they have the Old & New Testament. I understand they have a 'translation' that's edited to fit their beliefs, but I'd like to see how the Genesis "In the beginning God" & John "In the beginning was the Word & the Word was God" is edited. (I've seen how the Jehova's Witnesses Bible really edits the intro to John's Gospel)

That movie is awful and so unfunny. I once watched the first 20 minutes or so and couldn't finish.

Edit: err, no offense intended, but you said you were unimpressed, so I thought it would be ok to share my thoughts!

No it's fine.. I mostly agree..

A few laughs here and there to be fair.. but most of the writing is pretty uninspired.

Hmm.. the movie ending up being better than I thought it would be. Not so much humor wise.. but it had a touching end.
