CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

well i am at work waiting for my Pastor to arrive.... probably saw someone he knows and is having a yarn to them.. lol happens all the time when the pastor knows nearly everyone in the suburb...

Well, I've been planting strawberry plants in hanging baskets. They make a beautiful show, and, the fruit is yummmm ... the baskets looks so pretty with the red fruit hanging from them.

I want to try and get my butt down to the recycling centre (lol tip) and get my hands on some plastic pots. Just to put a few more vegies in. The ones I have planted are looking pretty good. Some of them have 4 leaves on now which is exciting because they started out as itty bitty seeds. Although the ratbag snails have eaten 2 plants which makes me feel very angry. I know they have to eat too, but really. Do they have to eat myyyyyy vegies?

Work as per usual (will be again til Friday) - then I get Mon and Tues off next week (to clean and to move my furniture and boxes - what fun!)...
Tonight so far I've washed my hair, washed my clothes and am waiting for dinner. Oh yeah, and I watched the final episode of 'Friends' - I have life group on Monday nights.
Then my pay will come in later, and I'll fix all my payments up. YAY for payday!

Just me...
i went and got my nose checked out at the doctor's thius morning... its fine...
i worked (i dont know how normal people do it... theres not enough hours in the day to work 9-5 5 days a week)
i returned my overdue library books
i went to my friends place and watched the OC and it was nice to catch up... cause we havent really done anything in weeks...

lol....Today I am at home for the whole day.... I've been rather ill of late, coughing up a few interesting colours of pleghm... ...but aside from the coughing I feel alright... I guess I'll spend the day either cleaning up for mum... on the internet... or I may go and hire a couple of movies... Oh yeah... I probably need do some of my maths homework aswell....

well my mum went into hospital today so i'm at home waiting for the call to go visit her. think i'll write some letters to my family.

Last night I spoke on the phone for over an hour. lol. Then I watched some of the Lindy Chamberlain story. Again, I can't stay awake past 9:30, so had to record it. Hope to watch the rest this afternoon at some stage. Not too suitable for littlies, but I'll find some way around it.

not sure yet, breast cancer is all i know.
she'll be right, i've been resting the lord heaps and trying to just understand his plan for her. i feel strangely positive about it all. she lost her sister to the exact same thing so she's not to great. but i feel everything will be ok. god doesn't give you more then you can handle right?

I've been doing my vegetable garden. Have to pop the radishes, peas, beans & carrots in now. My potatoes look wonderful! And the Jap Pumpkins & baby tomatoes. I don't need much but can always find someone to pass the excess onto if I don't deep freeze it all.

OOOH, a deep freezer. When BIL adn SIL get a place we will need to consider buying one. At the moment we are using their fridge/freezer in the shed and I know it is going to come in handy this Sunday when we have a BBQ. I can go and buy the meat in the morning before church, come back stick it in the fridge (the marked down specials are on in the morning) and then go off to church lol. The extra freezer space is so handy, I only buy meat once a month, also I can put other stuff in it, and I only need to do a big shop once a month (praise God because supermarkets and little kids don't really mix)
