I am thankful for having shelter

* The bird nest I've been watching. The baby birds have hatched!

* I'm feeling well enough to plant a garden.

* My husband of 29 years. (he's a jewel)

* My children are healthy and happy.

* My supportive church family.

* Jesus' free gift of salvation.

(not nessisarily in that order!)

-for salvation through Jesus Christ and for his mercy and grace. (i'd be in big trouble without Him)

-for my family, friends, and my fiance and her support

-for my abilities

-for wonderful delicious food.

-for freedom to go to church

-even for the tough time i'm going through, for i know the Lord is teaching and growing me even now. without going through the dark valleys, the good times wouldn't seem so bright.

I know I posted yesterday, but today I'm feeling quite down and need to publically thank God for things...

Here's three:

* I can read. I can read God's promises when ever I want.

* I finally have a vegetable garden. I've been wanting one for a couple of years.

* I slept almost the whole night.

For this, I am also thankful as my Mom has suffered greatly from migraines from the time she was a child.

I am thankful that God has blessed my mother with her 83rd birthday today. I am thankful that she is still here to join in on her celebration with my sister and me. Today is a glorious day. I love you Mom. God has blessed me with the blessing of you.

Today I'm thankful for... songs that make me think, like "It is Done" by David Thornton and "The Last Ones" by Matthew West. For my engagement ring, which reminds me of my fiance (always a good thing! &#9829... for my family and the love that they've always shown me. And for *snuggles* from all of my wonderful friends, online & off.
