I've known people that drove across the US/Canadian border just to get pop made with real sugar. It's better, but I don't know if it makes a huge difference in flavor.

A couple months ago my brother had some "Mountain Dew Throwback" made with real sugar. And really I tried it and I honestly prefer the high fructose corn syrup.
