Breaking Bad season 5. Always found season 5 the most distinct. Relies less on quirky humor and gets more serious. At least that's how I remember it. Better Call Saul has its quirky humorous moments... but I do feel that the writing style established in season 5 colored much of the prequel series.
I think by season 5, the writers became a little more self-aware of how respected the show was and wanted to go deeper regarding those qualities.
Watching the first two seasons... Walter White does really remind me of Hal from Malcolm in the Middle at times, lol. You get the sense that the show could have easily taken a less satisfying direction.
I actually really do love the Breaking Bad movie that came out a few years ago. Some of the scenes and dialog are really mesmerizing. Kind of makes me wonder what the show could have achieved if it went on a few more seasons. Eh.

Currently watching the series finale of Breaking Bad.
I actually forgot how heart breaking this last season was. Might also just be getting older.. harder and harder to watch such stuff.

Find it fitting to watch this film again.
The series looks so much cleaner in Dolby Vision. I know the original series was converted into 4K.. but it mostly looks like over glorified 1080P. I'm sure someday AI will be able to convert the original series into 4K or even 8K in the future.

Rambo Last Blood.
I've heard this one didn't get the best reviews... although it might be due to anti-conservative bias. Hard to trust professional movie reviews these days regarding political bias.
I'll give this title a shot. Only ever seen Rambo: First Blood and the Rambo film that came out in 2008. Liked the first movie, the 2008 version was pretty uncomfortable to watch.

Malcolm In The Middle.
Used to watch this show off and on when I was a kid/teenager. Honestly, I remember little of it, besides it having good writing. Going to give this series a watch from beginning to end.

Watching classic Family Guy (seasons 1-3).
Used to be really into this show as a kid. Remember watching it when it first came out.. I told others about it.. I remember one friend being mad about it.. when I talked about a baby character wanting to kill his mother. She was like "that's really disrespectful, you shouldn't find that funny".
The show used to come on after school. Although it stopped shortly after.. then I didn't see it for years. Almost thought I dreamed it up.. then it appeared on Adult Swim and became insanely popular. I remember my teachers being angered about it.. they all liked the Simpsons and were dismayed that us younger students preferred Family Guy. Growing up I realized the Simpsons were a better/smarter written show.. but Family Guy was perfect for those who were kids/teenagers.
Watching it now.. the show isn't as funny as I remember... but it's still nice to watch every once in a while.

Been a while since I've seen this show. Was really funny when I was younger... gets a little less funny each time but it has its moments. The first few seasons are pretty rough though.

Just finished the film. While it's a great movie the soundtrack by Lady Gaga wasn't very good. Much prefer Berlin.
Watching the original now... just to see if I might like it again. Honestly... I remember very little of it.

Malcolm in the Middle.
I think I'm somewhere in the middle of the first season.
So far, it's alright. Certainly, a stand up compared to your average sitcom. I'm sure the writing gets better as the season goes on.
