On the latest season of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. The cast is really starting to age now. The show started when they were in their late 20s.. now they are in their late 40s.

Danny Devito doesn't look much different. Really curious if the show will continue until they are in their 60s. Hopefully Danny Devito will still be around them

I despise IASIP. The show is just obnoxious! Ugh.

Nobody acts like that. If you met someone like that you’d think them mentally ill or sociopaths.
I suspect maybe they were trying to emulate Seinfeld, where all the characters had some bad human qualities that we all share. But IASIP was too over the top, and more importantly, not funny.

Cheers. Too stressed out at the moment to begin Star Trek The Next Generation.

Just need a cozy sitcom right now to temporarily escape the stress.

All caught up on It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Amazing comparing the first episode to the latest.

I do appreciate how the show is constantly willing to evolve. They even had an entire episode that looked and played out like a 1940s crime noir film.

Although in a strange way it does keep up with a lot of the continuity throughout the series.

Someone recommended How I Met Your Mother. Might try that out next as my new sitcom watch.

I've been watching a lot of Olympics coverage, but soon it'll be back to previous shows. I've also started the third COBRA season. (Thankful that PBS mutes some of the nasty language when they air the series. The disasters and interpersonal drama do draw me in!)

My teens will probably want to see the Chosen Season 4 roundtable episodes now that they're caught up on Rings of Power. I've been watching with them a couple evenings a week, giving us time to watch things just a bit more mature than the pre-teen will enjoy.

Been watching Cosmos. The Neil Degrasse Tyson version. Seen the first season, didn't know there were 3. Can't find the second season right now, but enjoy the 3rd. Although some of the episodes are surprisingly a little dark and sad.

The Olympics got tiresome. I only caught part of the closing ceremony. Gotta say, the sequences where Tom Cruise, riding a motorcycle, brings the Olympic flag to LA for the '28 games were pretty cool.

Otherwise, I just started watching the Inside the Mind of a Dog documentary series on Netflix. It's interesting.

Thinking about checking out Saint Maude. Not sure I should though. Psychological based films about spiritually and mentally ill people does trigger me. While from what I glanced from a few videos essays about the film, her spirituality issues seem mostly different than mine... a few scenes were triggering and actually left me in a bad headset for a few days. I still like the idea of such films being made. The subject matter greatly interests me. Although I do think the horror aspect might be a little disrespectful for those who do experience what I call spiritual sickness.

For All Mankind. I didn't have the Apple streaming service before this summer, but I kept hearing about the show, so I snapped up an offer for 3 months free. I'm not sure there'll be enough on the service to keep it next year...

Ad Astra. A 2019 film starring Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones, Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler, and Donald Sutherland. The movie follows the general plot line of Joseph Conrad's story Heart of Darkness (one of my favorite books).

I was watching The Devil in a Blue Dress last night. It has Denzel Washington in it. I saw Jennifer Beals in it and finally figured out who Kamala Harris reminded me of. She looks like an older Jennifer Beals. If there is a role for Kamala, Beals would be perfect for it.
