It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Season 2.

Danny Devito joins the cast during this season. The show is getting better. Reminds me of a darker version of Seinfeld. Wish I watched this show when I was younger. Would have probably appreciated it more then. Remember seeing it on TV but for whatever reason never gave it a chance.

I used to watch that show many years ago. I only remember the abortion clinic episode.

That's one of the season 1 episodes.

For whatever reason I kept on thinking of Ali G when he went to an abortion protest, lol.

Wasn’t there an episode where the Blonde woman marries Danny DeVito? Or where a 12 year old gets intoxicated? I haven’t seen the show in ages and it’s been on for so long.

I’ve only seen a few episodes of Seinfeld.

I mainly say it reminds me of Seinfeld, because it's a group of.. well.. pretty terrible people getting into shenanigans.

I heard they are doing Everybody Hates Chris, in animated form. Not sure if it follows his life as an adult or not. Wish it was live action but I'm still mildly curious what if will be like.

I always have a Star Trek series on the go, and it's Deep Space Nine recently. Also ended up watching 3 Trek movies in a row last Friday, since I had the time. (No one told me it was the Genesis trilogy when I grew up, but it makes sense now.... #4 has always been my fave.)

I'm catching up on Chesapeake Shores after having read a few of the books years ago. Found it free to watch and it's been decent content so far.

Not great-quality show for when I want to listen to Australian accents: Neighbours (2023 episodes). Soap-opera writing is so bad, though!

Far above all of those in content and quality: The Chosen Season 4 recently ended, and now it's Bible roundtable time. Let's get Bible-nerdy! :D

Horizon is a movie without a main character and too many side characters. Kevin Costner's lack of focus is odd with his experience in front of and behind the camera. One could overlook it if the individual parts were more appealing, but the movie is generally depressing without prominent heroes or relationships to root for.

I watched Twister last night to refresh my memory for the new movie that'll be out soon. And because I enjoy (fictional) natural disaster movies!

And today is 40 years since The Last Starfighter released, so that's my evening plan. :)

Hillbilly Elegy was a solid movie. I was most impressed by Glenn Close whose mannerisms and look totally transform her into the character. It deals with the difficulties of life without becoming empty cynicism, giving some good messages.

It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. On season 11 already, although the number of episodes in a season is relatively short.

Not the funniest sitcom out there, although it does make me laugh out loud at times. Regardless, the situations the cast find themselves in is often outrageous so it's at least always amusing to watch. Seems to get more demented every season too, so I'm curious where this show is heading. At least on season 11, it doesn't feel tired or anything.

A thread to post what you are currently watching or plan to watch soon.
I'm currently watching Star Trek: Voyager. Today's episode: Timeless - one of my favourites. (I love the time travel and alternate timeline episodes!)

That reminds me, I need to try to get into Star Trek.

At least The Next Generation and newer entries in the series. The original looks way too cheesy.

The Next Generation is fairly cheesy too, but probably a better place to start than the original series. Enjoy!

Watching the 1970s PBS series I, Claudius (starring Derek Jacobi, Brian Blessed, Sian Phillips, John Hurt, and a rather young Patrick Stewart). John Hurt as the insane Emperor Caligula is quite entertaining to watch, and the Welsh actress Sian Philipps is a delight as the evil and conniving Livia (Sian Phillips was in the 1984 adaptation of Dune as the Reverend Mother Mohiam).
