  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Jumanji (1995). Loved this movie as a kid.. heard from others that it hasn't aged well.. I don't know... I find it well written. The special effects look bad now.. can't believe I thought some of them were actual animals when I was a kid, lol.

Regardless of what other people think about the film. I still enjoy it.

The Iron Giant. At least for now.

Liked this movie as a kid. The style and animated expressions remind me a lot of the Incredibles, another Brad Bird film. The Incredibles is probably my favorite kid movie of all time.

The Fully Monty. Never seen this film before but I do like Robert Carlye. For whatever reason he cracks me up... even if he shouldn't be at times. Like when he played Hitler in that made for TV movie.

I just watched Hocus Pocus 2 the other night. Not as great as the original, but cute and entertaining, nonetheless.

Watched the new Hellraiser yesterday. Pretty lame honestly. The original was more disturbing. I normally am not a fan of horror films, but do find the concept of suffering and spirituality interesting. Sadly the series doesn't really do anything regarding the psychology.

All I can really say is the film was at least acted well. The special effects were decent too.

Going to finish up the rest of Seven Samurai tonight.

The movie slowly grew on me. The characters are more interesting than I thought they'd be. Despite the long length... nothing really fills like filler.
