A Quiet Place Pt. 2

I liked that it showed the beginning of the attack. The meteorite falling to earth reminds me of Wormwood in Revelations. It's well made but very tense.

I heard it got pretty good reviews. That's nice for a sequel. Still haven't seen the first one.. but the premise sounds interesting. Although would probably be better viewing in a theater instead of by myself watching on a laptop.. lol.

Both are better than a lot of recent horror movies. Although I'm biased toward solid films with aliens in them. The theater can be great but it depends on the audience. I've had some bad experiences with that lol. <.< At least watching alone there aren't any cellphone lights or random noises.

A thread to post what you are currently watching or plan to watch soon.

This is also a place to leave reviews of what you just watched if you so choose.

As for me I am currently watching The Pacific. Enjoying it thus far. A little more gruesome at times than I thought it would be. Cannot help but wonder what World War 2 was like for my grandfather. Although he was stationed in Europe. I do somewhat envy those who were able to live through such important times.

As for what I plan to watch soon.. probably Scanners.
I'm watching a debate from 1984 about capitalism vs. socialism. It was a slaughter. The socialists were utterly destroyed. They were totally outclassed and humiliated.

I've also been binge watching this guy's kayak fishing videos from Australia. I'm seriously craving fish.

Watched Return Of The Living Dead.

Did not really enjoy it.. it said it was gory and gruesome.. but not really.. at least to modern standards. It had some edgy characters.. but in a boring mundane over the top way. The premise of smart and fast zombies.. and especially zombies that will try to kill you even if you chop them up into a million pieces is interesting.. but with 80s special effect technology.. the scenes left a lot to be desired regarding that premise.

Currently watching Somos on Netflix. In the past some of these Mexican programs are actually of very high quality. Occasionally I forget that there countless countries and millions of people south of the American border.

Come And See.

Just finished watching a scene where Nazis are dropping bombs from the sky. Seems like the put the actors (and Camera man) at somewhat of a risk with that scene. It is a Russian movie.. so yeah I guess they don't quite have the same sensibilities a Hollywood film would have.. lol.
