Johnnie Walker is passable. There's nothing offensive about it. And in the absence of something better, why not.

But IMHO, it lacks character. OTOH, Christopher Hitchens drank almost nothing but. His reasoning is that you can always trust it to taste the way it tasted the last time. As a world traveler, he found life too short to accidentally drink something bad.

Me, OTOH, finding a new drink, trying a new drink, is part of the adventure.

I remember hearing, that the late Christopher Hitchens allegedly drank a bottle of Johnnie Walker a day. I do not know if there is any truth to that or not.

it's actually really good! I also like it with Southern Comfort. I mostly like vodka + cranberry juice which is my favorite drink

Same here. Fed up wih IPAs, as well, and I refuse to drink any beer that has any part of a skeleton on the label. I'm find myself drinking plain old Coors Banquet more these days, because it's cheap and it tastes good. My wife refuses to drink any beer other then Miller High Life because she says paying more than $1 for a bottle of beer is immoral.

Back in my consulting days I was back and forth to LA a lot; a roughly 4 and a half hour flight. My partner and I would usually consume 4 greyhounds per flight, spaced out so that we were pretty much completely sober when we got to the other end. Made traveling a lot more enjoyable.
