Somewhat chemical, but very unique on the palate. It's been aged both in Oloroso Sherry casks (70%) and bourbon casks (30%). It's rich, but odd. I'd buy it again, but it's not an everyday drink (and that can be a good thing). In recent memory, no whiskey has come close to warming me physically as this one does.

I was warned off water by an American (at a Greek wedding, but never mind!). He told me water 'rusts your pipes'. He was a Texan living in California. I'm not sure whether to trust him.

I never buy that stuff, as I'm afraid drinking it will make me as stupid as whoever came up with that name. I alsodon't drink beer with skeletons on skulls on the packaging for the same reason. Just idiotic.
